A person would a healthy conscience would call the police, but a narcissistic puke wouldn't. They can't stand to be seen as imperfect.

I find it hard to consider that option but this case is so strange to me you could be right! In that instance her hands and legs being bound could be explained by the person wanting to make her easier to move/stay in a particular position.

A bit earlier when I read the Daily Mail link I posted above there was a video of the father Karl speaking....now that I check that link it's gone. Did anyone else see that? So sorry I wasn't quick enough posting it then...I was trying to catch up and you guys are too quick for me lol!

How is it possible that the boys who discovered her seen her hair, if there was a grocery bag over her head?

If they seen her legs, yet barely touched the bag, how did they see both her legs AND her hair (which was presumably covered)?

I came here to discuss what I knew about the neighborhood.
and especially, the amount of what appears to be staging in this crime, which is quite unusual and merits discussion.

So, once again, I am stating that I think the elements of staging are extremely unusual and I am not surprised that the FBI has a large presence in this case.

Agree or disagree?

Respectfully,
Maria

I don't think we know how much the teens did, unfortunately. I think the person saying they didn't want to get their fingerprints on was the teen's parent who called it in.

If the "belt around tarp" info is true, teens must have unwrapped her.

I am mainly a lurker, I have been reading for years! However, I read earlier, and I can't remember where, that they (authorities) said Alanna was 'tortured'. So, if that is the case, then I wouldn't think it was a drowning.... I found the link! http://www.nydailynews.com/news/nat...her-article-1.1389968?localLinksEnabled=false This case is heartbreaking to me, as I am a mom too, and these stories just grab my heart and soul. I hope the perpetrator is apprehended soon.

This has grabbed my heart too. I keep checking here to see if the killer has been caught.

PS I read the above link and read nothing about torture.

It doesn't say it in a paragraph, but it says it under one of the pictures of Alanna. It is in bold print. :(

Are there any local carwashes in Saginaw that have video cameras?

If the red truck is actually the perp, and he lured Alanna to his vehicle, then he likely tried to detail inside and outside of truck to get rid of evidence.

I found an Rso who lives within a mile or so from Alana, and less than half a mile from the dump site. I then google-mapped his work address, which is listed on the s/o registry and found a red (maroon?) truck.

Only thing is his gender preference, although the one victim listed is the only one we know about, really.

It takes very little strength or power to kill a small girl who has just turned 6 years old. Allana was barely 6.

So, if the reports we have in writing from official news sources are true, there are elements of staging to the crime.
1) State of undress.
2) Limbs bound.
3) Plastic bag over head ( possible COD- asphyxiation?)
4) Body wrapped in tarp and secured with tape and belt ( if reports are accurate.
5) Wrapped body 🤬🤬🤬sibly dropped, thrown, or pushed out of vehicle onto area near a public roadway.

Questions the above bring to mind:
1) Disorganized killer
2) Overkill, rage
3) Possibility that body fell off or out of a vehicle at the wrong place
4) Should be DNA and other forensic evidence galore.. why so much done to such a tiny person?
5) Link to possible other child murders- spree killer may fit.
6) Conflicting and contradictory statements given by LE in the past 24 hours. Reason???
7) If body was dumped, then extreme disrespect/ anger against victim, her associates, neighborhood, etc. is likely.
8) SOME elements of crime scene which are known look like someone who is very inexperienced or in a state of high agitation. May point to age of killer(s), also person under influence of drugs, alcohol. Typical of a spree killing, but not necessarily only a spree killing.

These are the things which bother me.

Respectfully,
Maria

Is this the Cindy Lane one?

I wonder if LE has put out a BOLO to local paint and body shops in case this red truck owner ran right in the next day to get that green spot removed/sanded/ painted red.

She was secured in the tarp with a tightly cinched belt. My hope and prayer right now is that another child, an older child, was not involved.

If so then who dumped her on the road?

I wanted to throw something out the regarding the LEs "Public has nothing to fear" statement.

It's entirely possible the person who committed this crime has been picked up on something else entirely. LE may have a suspicion and was able to hold them on a traffic warrant while collecting evidence/strengthening their case.

OR the suspect is deceased. There was a vicious murder of a teacher in my city last year. LE was adamant there was nothing to fear. It took them slightly over a week to finally announce the murder suspect was killed in a car accident after having a heart attack while fleeing the scene. Instant karma ;)

Instant Karma... YES! :what:

what about suicide? have there been any reports of suicide in the general area since Monday night?

Just an idea...

The father in the 911 call says that she was 'dropped off'. I guess he was assuming but interesting anyway. Also, reports at the beginning state that the victim was found UNDER a tarp. That tells me the boys opened up the tarp, IMO. Their prints are going to be all over everything.
“I think it’s a little girl in a plastic bag,” Whiddon told the dispatcher. “Someone dropped it off.”

Whiddon told the dispatcher that he didn’t open the bag.

“I don’t want to put my fingers all over it,” he said.

I'd be curious to know where Alanna's clothes are. Wherever they are, it's likely the origin of the crime scene. Have her clothes been located? Are they at her home, near a swimming pool, missing and in someone's possession? Knowing where her clothes are would answer a lot of questions about this case, IMO.

I have a feeling the suspect may have known the Gallagher family in some way which is why LE are saying that this is an isolated incident.
