LE took so many toilet paper rolls, there got to be some toilet paper at the crime scene.
Otherwise taking toilet paper makes no sense.

I'm guessing Alanna may have been wiped down with toilet paper, it leaves fibres.

Maybe if you'd been camping and hadn't yet unloaded everything from your car? Also, I buy tp when it's on sale, so it wouldn't be unheard of for me to have 24 or 48 rolls of the stuff in my vehicle if I had lots of other crap to unload., I might let it sit in there a day or two.

I do not think the issue
Is the amount of tissue
The family had.

It is why they are taking the TP in the first place. I hate shopping so I buy huge amounts of TP. Just seems like a product people need now that they don't make the Sears catalog anymore.

“We’re doing a canvass and what that entails is basically we’re talking to any neighbors that are coming through the neighborhood or anybody that is visiting the neighborhood just to sort of generate ideas if anybody saw anything, observed anything unusual,” said Saginaw police Officer Damon Ing.

A Tarrant County judge ordered the affidavit for that search warrant sealed. However, the warrant itself and the inventory of the items seized in the home — obtained by WFAA-TV (Channel 8) — shed new light on the case.

I can't find any info stating that the police were searching cars today of the people returning home after work.

What does the affidavit mean and why is it more secret than the search warrant! Does the affidavit list what was found on/with Alanna?

Ok this is the post that confused me, lol...somehow I read it as a Honda Odyssey was another name for a female condom...:blushing:

:)... You never know, Clu... There might just be a female condom with a very similar name!

:therethere:

That is what I was thinking...

this event may not have been a one time thing.. KWIM?

um, yea. That was my question without really questioning it. KWIM? :-/

ITA. And why would the perp go take things from the car as opposed to bringing these things with him? Especially if said perp wants to avoid detection.

Maybe to frame someone?... Make someone other than himself look suspicios?

Just a thought...

This. Many people who go camping, myself included usually bring TP along because sometimes the site bathrooms run out before they're restocked.

I am very... particular about my hiney, and only use the best, softest tp. So, i bring it on vacay just in case. No scratchy one ply for this momma...

If that is true, then it would just be the one special brand, right? Not two different sorts? Plus 30 + is a lot of TP for .. just about any outing ....... ( O M G , unless that outing is permanent ) ( waiting for my mod snip, :( )

I guess I am not clear. I have zero questions on why the family has toilet paper of vast amounts or where they keep their TP or anything related to the family and their use of TP which I feel most of us use.

What I am wondering is why LE took TP?

Some ideas have been put forth and others have not been willing to say what it is they think.

Me, I have no clue. None. Zero ideas.

Wiping down with TP? Maybe. Gag. Maybe.

Just stumps me

The search warrant lays out the probable cause to search. What leads law enforcement to believe what they're searching for will be FOUND where they're searching. IMO

When you buy tp at Costco you can get large quantiies, 36, 40, 48..

I guess the Lowe's receipts concern me more than the tp, the female condemn or the wal-mart bags.

ETA I actually meant female condom.
