Perhaps they found chlorinated water on her skin or hair, maybe the tarp? I wonder if LE took samples of the tub water and the toilet paper to determine where she had been that afternoon. If they found chlorinated water or toilet paper fibres on her that couldn't be traced to her home, then that would suggest she had been had been at someone else's house. This would be pretty pertinent if no-one has come forward and said "Yeah, she was swimming at my house". Then they know what to start looking for in neighbours homes and so forth.

It does not make sense to me. She could have an accident at home and what would the urine prove?

Is there any other ideas people have for what in the heck the urine could mean

I am wondering if they are urine samples of the members of the family...

They do if you put one of those targets in the toilet for them to aim at. They think it is fun. Especially when they are first learning to stand up to go potty. LOL :blushing: lmbo at this.

Salem

Ha! Would that still work for teenagers? Maybe M&M's as rewards? :floorlaugh:

The other kids are with relatives.

do you know this or think this? Not trying to be snarky, just wondering.
it would make sense to me, if I had a child missing, I would send my other kids elsewhere, for their potential as well as their feeling of safety.
I have a 15 year o K d grandson that would never ever allow himself to be removed from wherever or whatever he might be able to aid in. He would insist on being right in the middle of everything.

IMO she was washed off or was drowned in that tub.

No problem to go in a pool. You only put the amount you need.

Speculation that she has chlorinated water in her lungs and they are trying to match up the water and chemicals.

:floorlaugh: with all the pee on the seat and aiming talk when I read this I thought you were talking about 'going' in the pool.
I need to work on my reading comprehension tonight!

I read it here early on, but I honestly don't remember the news source. I'm sorry. It was said they were with relatives while the parents were at the police station getting "grief counseling" which sounds like "interviewed separately" IMO

Giggle! I appreciate the break from the horribleness of this crime!

"Alanna’s siblings are staying with family friends, Marissa Gonzales, a spokeswoman with Child Protective Services, said Wednesday in an email. The family has no history with CPS, Gonzales said."

The other kids are reportedly with relatives.

Are they still with relatives... Or was that just during the time the parents were being interviewed...

In fact... Do we know if the adults have returned, either?

My kids the same way .... He's always been that way. IMO it's a terrific quality he didn't get from me...I rather shut down and hide away.

If CPS is making the statement ...IMO...they're still with relatives... Or in foster-care if the relatives can't house them until the investigation is over.

lol I was having issues with a few of my son's friends...they'd pee on the seat and drops all over the floor! So.....each time I caught one coming out of the bathroom, I'd go in behind them, call them back & hand them the Clorox wipes. I no longer have that problem:) my kid was mortified! Oh well.

Tough Love... :floorlaugh:

With seven males in this house...we never sit before looking. I have absolutely no frame of reference as to exactly how long it takes to train one to lift the seat and aim at the water. Do males ever really learn to do this consistently?

Not in my experience with the male species...
