Another thing I found that interested me is a history rundown on the old Saginaw Airport.
It's a long read (lol) but towards the end of the article it appears that one old airplane hangar still exist's in which seems to be rented out, along with a closed shed hangar that is used occasionally for 'estate sales'.

http://www.airfields-freeman.com/TX/Airfields_TX_FtWorth_NW.htm

It is off of North Knowels Drive, across from the Willow Creek disc golf course.........

I mentioned the airport in an earlier post.

I knew the couple that built the airport, their daughter owns it now. The house was torn down a couple of years ago but the big hanger and I think one other building is still there, I drive by it all the time.

Great article about the airport, thank you.

I'm still wondering about all of the construction going on a few blocks from Alanna's house. They are connecting the two parts of Boaz Drive and building houses. They haven't started on the houses yet, just the roads.

I'm trying to be patient here and remembering that Somer Thompson was abducted on 19 Oct. 2009...her murderer wasn't arrested until Feb. 2010...almost 4 months after her abduction and murder.

I've been reading news articles about little Alanna. It looks like there's been nothing new reported in 2 days....forgive me if I missed anything.

Initially I was looking for any little tidbit that I missed when maybe reading too fast.
I found nothing. But the one thing that grabbed my attention was this....her clothes....
HOW come LE hasn't asked people to CALL THEM IF THE FIND ANYTHING that maybe belonged to Alanna? What exactly does LE know? Imo

BBM

I was wondering the same thing about 19 pages back.

Sometimes it's what they DON'T ask for that gets my attention.

Sadly, this has already gone luke warm I don't see anything keeping it in the MSM, I google and nothing comes up that hasn't already been said.

How sad and how frustrating.

I think the officer who made the statement that 'Saginaw was perfectly safe' (paraphrasing) should be made to come on back and clear up that little statement.

~Here's another thing I've learned in real life...there is NOTHING like public pressure to get people to move, act, react or confess.

I agree, but LE haven't released any information on any injuries or anything like that on Alanna's body have they? Also I guess how well it was wrapped in the tarp and how thick the tarp was to have cushioned a fall to have left any visible scrapes or marks at all.

I just can't see how a single person could have intentionally left her body near the curb like it was. It just would have been too awkward and risky imo.

It could have been two people.
One driving and One in the back of the tray to open the tray and get the body out and close the tray. The second person may not have been spotted if they were lying down or there was one of those proper covers over the back of the tray.

Trying this for the first time, I attached a picture of Alanna's neighborhood. This shows the two parts of WJ Boaz road that construction workers are connecting right now. You can also see how locals use Bridle Trail to cut through the neighborhood.

I just wanted to share my two cents, I always sleuth cases and my family usually makes jokes about calling me a super sleuth. So here goes my theory on this heartbreaking case...

Alanna could have gone to see if one of her friends could play, knocked on the door and someone answers.. The little friend isn't come but the perp tells her Little Alanna that her little friend is home and invites her in. Alanna is now inside the home, door shuts! Now maybe this perp is the parent of the little friend, maybe a relative of the little friend whatever but now he has her in the house and maybe he has watched her play at the house before? But maybe this guy just takes advantage of the situation? Maybe he does whatever horrific (I can't think about this part) and then he realizes time has past and the little friend and either the other parent is on their way home or maybe he just needs to go somewhere but his car is in the garage so he loads the baby in the car and opens the garage door and knows he needs to dump her little body

Then why haven't the police tossed the friend's house?
There are no media reports of the police spending much time at any home other than where Alanna lived.

I'm not saying the above situation didn't happen but there hasn't been anything in the media to support that.

I've thought of an older teenager home alone on summer vacation doing something and then using mom/dad's vehicle to transport. That might explain the seemingly need to do a hasty disposal and get back home.

I also thought of something else to add to my list of things LE should always take when searching a home/garage: Vacuum cleaners, including any shop vac from the garage. Perps might vacuum their vehicle at home instead of taking it to the car wash.

Just a thought. Sometimes vacant homes get squatters.
Now that would be a good place to view from and to hide in.

It could be possible, but if I was a neighbor and saw a squatter, I would be on the phone to LE. Who wants that in their neighborhood,

I can see someone with a key who has business there.

We had a foreclosed home in our neighborhood, and the people had to buy it as is. The former owners had totally trashed it.

I don't think foreclosed homes have workers in them unless there is a new owner in the home trying to fix it up.

I can just see a real estate agent and clients coming to look at the home.

I am guessing this is a nicer neighborhood that would not tolerate squatters.

Since Amber Hagerman is being brought up, I'm wondering if people that live in DFW remember something else. After her death, there was another murder of a girl (age 13-14, I think) that was very similar to Amber's. It didn't get much attention.

Anyone remember her name?

Not sure if this will work but here's a 1 mile radius map of Alanna's home. The location of her body is near the boundary. I have a feeling the perp(s) will be located as living within this boundary. However, there is a Walmart near the north boundary too and it is possible someone was at that store and drove through the community. I think Walmart will factor into this crime (besides what we know about the items siezed in the search warrant) JMO

I cannot believe nothing again, this morning being reported on this case :banghead:

If this person lived in her neighborhood, I would think someone would recognize the truck. Specifically if there was green paint on the truck.

Her house is very close to a highway (287). Easy access to the neighborhood and easy access to get out quickly.

Hm but now that I think about it, she was abducted and found in the same neighborhood. I wonder who has identified this truck as being suspicious.

This case is really mystifying in that for a child murder with no arrests...LE is awfully quiet, as is the media.

My sister lives in TX and she only found out about a series of rapes of young women on the path behind her house from a neighbor...makes me wonder if parts of TX like to keep their unsolved crimes as quiet as possible.

I assume the LE is so quiet because they know alot more than they're saying.

<modsnip> Why else would LE say it is an isolated incident?

I've seen too many cases go cold as LE remained silent, assumed by the public to "know more than what they're saying."

But in this case perhaps, perhaps they do.

I can't find the article link for the two girls abducted in Tyler in 1989/ 1992 or 3 but I would love to see those two in the picture lineup with Amber, Ashely, Opal and Alanna.

Hello everyone. I would like to thank all of you posters bc for the last 2 weeks I've been reading everything I can find on this case but you all find way more than I ever can and have great responses to what y'all find. I live 3 streets from where beautiful Alanna was found. I drive past the same intersection almost daily. I have 2 daughters and suddenly what I felt was a great move to Saginaw 4 months ago, has become a decision that fills me with regret and fear. The more info I get the better I feel, somehow, so I am truly thankful to each of you.
