OMG, who burns teddy bears? That is the most disturbing thing. This poor family is being tormented.

I doubt that the fire was set by the murderer. More likely people who think the family is guilty, or people who think their lifestyle needs to be judged. Or people who get a sick thrill out of attention.

Can't help but wonder about a particular resident who has an arrest record and has been interviewed in the media in relation to this incident recently.

Has the family been staying there? I wonder if someone is trying to run the family out of town.

So now will LE come out with more information to let the public help them? Fire to the memorial has happened before b/c of candles. Fire to the car I cant explain that one. Hmm Was that the car with the red tape in it? (I think red tape will be the gas cans in this case.) This has my brain on overdrive. If this was the car I might start giving a bit more weight to the theory that the perp might have gotten the tape from that car ( possible they had 2 rolls in the car maybe ) and wanted that car to go away so no other evidence could be found if LE missed something.


Wondering if the tapes will be released today or maybe they are going to hold onto the tapes even longer now. Bet they will want to see if the neighbors caught anything on video last night and see if it matches video from July 1st.

Any evidence in the murder was collected long ago. We know the cars were searched, and vacuumed multiple times.

The reason only one car was set on fire, is because (guessing here) the other two were in the garage, and someone on the street couldn't get to them.

Wasnt a portion of the garage on fire too?
My gosh! This is awful! Im wondering if the family is staying there. Might be why only one car was set on fire, because the other two were gone? Its been stated on here by their friend that they typically didnt use the garage to house their vehicles.

Dr. Jan Garavaglia, medical examiner who did the autopsy on Caylee's remains, testified that no one makes the accidental death of a child look like a murder. Maybe the prosecutor said it, too, but I remember Dr. G was adamant in her statement.

Ugh. Dr. G has to know that there are always outliers. One should never say "never" in the field of medicine or pathology for this reason.

Just last night channel 5 said that Saginaw PD was going to release cell phone and surveillance video today. The channel 8 WFAA video posted this morning states LE has to investigate these fires now instead of other things they could be doing. Wonder if somebody doesn't want that evidence released? Or wants to delay the release?

I was thinking candle also. BTW, the tea light sized flicker candles can be purchased at 4 for $1, so maybe people should switch over to those. That is the same cost as votive candles are around here, and they come with the battery already in them.

So, at 2 a.m. someone sees the fires. I am guessing the arsonist either lives close, or parked a few blocks away and walked up, b/c it would not be very bright to drive right up to the scene. But, it was dark and 2 a.m. so maybe the arsonist did drive up and someone saw a vehicle... I hope someone saw something, enough to help LE out.

The family may want to consider a hotel or something. I would be terrified. That is probably the point of the fires though.

Maybe property damage if any was done to the garage or car, or street area and sign? Someone will have to pay to fix any damage done.

There may be other charges, but arson is what it looks like if intentional. Trying to burn down a home or car is very scary stuff!

Unless the perp is getting ready to flee today, I don't see how this would buy much time. Is this just another odd coincidence (the fires being set soon after LE announces they will release footage to the public)?

Found 6 miles from park. I tried to see if I could find a dirt road 6 miles from the park but I bet many things have changed over the yrs.

While digging up more info on Ashley I found a local reporter ( Shelly Slater from WFAA) who says she was friends with Ashley. I wonder if she might be willing to add anything since Ashley seems to be forgotten and Blair taken center stage. Anyone good at writing letters? I am horrible at writing maybe someone wants to send her an email.

Did you see that the police are possibly going to release surveillance footage today? There are some news stories about that from late last night.

LE needs to come out and clear the family if they are able to and make a stern warning to idiots starting fires at their homes. I'd be PO'd if I'm the family at this point and say to LE, clear me so the public knows what's going on. Sneaking suspicion the reason LE won't clear the family is because by doing so that is opening up the door to say ' yes there is a baby killer on the loose and your children are NOT safe ' and they don't want to do that. So they're essentially using the family as a ' cover' for the real story , which would panic the public.
