WFAA just broadcast confirmation that it was KG's car. LG gave first interviews on tv to WFAA & KDFW, should be available on websites shortly

I think I remember hearing that KG didn't get home from work until 8 PM that day (I think I may even remember hearing that it was the normal time). Does anyone else have confirmation?

If that's the case, and this was KG's car, then this car wasn't present during the time window that Alanna was killed.

What a situation for the poor people of Saginaw.

They are being terrorized.

Having been the subject of this type of a situation before, my heart goes out to the citizens. :(

The car AND Alanna were not present during at least some of the time she was missing.

Until LE releases a timeline, and if there is an confirmed alibi, we just don't know the details.

LDhummingbird,
What kind of chores did MM assign to Laura? Did her chores involve walking/carrying things down the street to neighbors' homes? (thanks in advance)

Assign?? I find the wording curious. What led you to believe she was "assigned chores?" I mean, she was an adult!! (I'm not trying to be condescending, I'm just truly curious.)

Just my two cents, but I don't think the fire has anything to with evidence related to Alanna's murder. It's been nearly three weeks. The evidence was collected within days of her death.

I'm a tad hopeful because of this little fire. Even though the odds are SMALL, I would think there is a tiny chance finding the arsonist will lead to the perp if it is not the perp. I understand it's unlikely but it is something. Whoever set the fire had a reason for doing so....find that person, find that reason and it could lead to some new info. :please:

Totally agree, there's no way this was an attempt to destroy evidence.

I hate to go this angle, but it appears they were pretty active in their church. While the church may have been okay with their "alternative" relationship......let's not forget that a lot of people down here are still quite conservative, esp in the 'burbs. It could really fire someone up that their church appeared to condone it?

I've heard of very conservative churches down here kicking people out for drinking or living with someone, so to some it may seem "too much" that their church would be okay with their lifestyle?

I don't know much about the Lutheran church. Most of my experience is with Baptist or non-denom & Catholic........

Not that it matters much, but she was murdered 7/1.

I wonder if there were other partners before AG's biological father? Anyone see or read how long they've all been together?

I wonder if there is anyone that lives in the area that is frequently intoxicated?

I'm trying to come to terms with the fact that anyone would have the nerve to do such a thing.

Or jilted lovers. Who would have that much anger?

In the 3rd one, there's a white dog sniffing around a car in the driveway. Do you think that is an arson dog (is there such a thing?) or a neighborhood dog?

Could be. Some dogs are specifically trained to sniff chemicals.
