I personally think that the person who set these fires and who killed Alanna are one of the same.
After the fires were set it made more sense to me then about Alannas placement and I feel at this time she was purposely laid there.
The lack of information coming out intially in my opinion is why these fires were started.
I firmly believe that the perp was disgusted by not getting the attention he/she feels they deserve and is targeting this family and feels they deserve the familys attention first and foremost.
I also believe that this person has been watching/still watching and or knows the Gallagher family for sometime, knows their routine as a family and knew Alanna personally even if it was only in passing.
They live in the area, they blend in, which allows them to move around virtually undetected and I think they have been planning this overtime.
This person to me will certainly be a sociopath personality, this is all moo of course.
Sociopaths can be almost obsessively organized and are normal in their social relationships. They would likely live an outwardly normal life and appear to blend in well with society.
They often have successful careers and try and try to make others like and trust them, because they understand human social emotions quite well but are unable to experience them.
They can plan acts of violence for years and may often be motivated by greed or revenge, any violent crimes by sociopaths are often controlled and often go undetected until after they are caught.
Also they can feel deeply angry and resentful underneath their often-charming exterior, this can fuel their sense that they have the right to act out in whichever way they happen to choose at the time. Everything is up for grabs with sociopaths and nothing is off limits.
I haven't really came up with the why I feel this family has been targeted if this is the case. It could be their lifestyle, perhaps they way they let there children play somewhat freeley through the neighborhood, ect... I havent mulled over alot of that yet.
I pray that the Gallagher family will continue to be strong and that this sicko is caught asap. I am worried that we haven't seen the end of this taunting and that it wont subside until this person is caught. I hope that I am totally wrong. moo.......
Have the police said the family is totally cleared? Not attempting to implicate the family, I just don't remember those details.
Which is Alanna's biological father - MM or KG?
...sitting on my hands...
Hi Everyone.
Even though I've been following this case and others for a while, I'm new to posting. OT The BBM part sounds like Jodi Arias. Ugh
Now back to poor Alanna. I've been wondering why this demon would use a belt when he obviously had access to and used other items, such as red tape, to bind her with. I also wonder if LE can some how track what stores sell those belts and go from that angle too.
MOO
Here's another thing that has been bugging me.
It's just plain as the nose on my face that LE has more suspicions about these two cars than just they were 'lingering'.
Around here, ever since I was a child we would 'go for rides'. It's COMMON place in the afternoon or evening for people to pile in the car and cruise around town.
Many, many times if I just need to clear my head, (run from the laundry and dishes) I get in the car and crank up my music and drive aimlessly around this town for a good half hour just thinking and sorting.
My word if there was ever a crime here I would be the first on the list!
So that leads me to think there has GOT to be more to this than meets the eye.
OR, Have you ever heard the term..."Throw the dog a bone?"
MAYBE there's NOTHING to either of these cars and the police just tossed these photos out there to the public to keep us all busy and quiet for a few days.
(I use to do the same thing with Cherrios and my kids when they were little).
RBBM: There is no way LE would put these pictures out there for no reason. It would be highly irresponsible and dangerous to do such a thing. I wouldn't want to own a little black car in Saginaw right now. LE is there to do a job, not to entertain the public. JMOHere's another thing that has been bugging me.

What is a mandated reporter?
I respectfully disagree. If you look at the full picture, you will see the leaves on the tree match up exactly. There are purple artefacts all over the image too. I have copied the section of leaves from the first image and placed them over the purple spots on the second image. Where the purple spot is on the second image, it matches up to being leaves on the first image.
Don't forget we don't know if these are screenshots that the camera has taken directly when detecting movement. Or they are screenshots from a video that was recorded by the camera and LE have screengrabbed images from the video. If they are taken from a moving video, LE would know there was someone walking before the car pulled up.
Here is the full picture:
For those wondering if there's a person in purple behind the car. I have quickly and roughly placed the leaves from the tree from the first image over the purple part of the second image:
For reference the unedited second image is at the bottom. The leaves from the first image is at the top. As you can see, where the purple is in the bottom picture, it is in the same spot as the dark spot of the leaves in the top picture. Granted you have to take wind into consideration etc but all other leaves around the driveway match up too.
I think the point the poster was trying to make is that you really can't separate a suburb like Saginaw from the surrounding area in DFW.
For example, I grew up in a house that was in City A, had an address from City B, my next door neighbor had an address from City C and the guy down the road lived in City D. Property lines and town limits are a strange science in this area. I think they can tend to skew statistics.
I agree that it's weird and a point to be considered. BUT in this area (and I honestly don't know if this is the same elsewhere), all of the suburbs blend with bigger towns. So the fact that two murders were "IN" Saginaw wouldn't be as odd as two murders in a place where towns DO have more of a separation.
Looking at the huge time gap between the two Saginaw cases - I think it's unlikely that they are related, but I also wouldn't be so sure as to put money on it.
Just trying to give an insight to non-locals! :seeya:
The "solar noon" is about 1:30 at this time of the year.

Has anybody seen verification that anybody saw her at 4? I've seen it on here but I can't find any articles or videos from LE that confirm it.
I've seen it in one article ( which I haven't been able to locate since)

Thank You so much mysticrose.

- So, if we are to believe that the two vehicles recently being discussed are involved in anyway, they were in the neighborhood "lingering" possibly as early as High Noon (according to the shadows).
- Mom leaves at approx. noon to drive LDhummingbird, friend and verified insider, home.
- Neighbor sees Alanna playing on his front lawn with his grandchildren @ approx. 2 PM.
- Miles has stated that he let Alanna go out to play with friends at 4PM. Time needs verification
....(wonder if this was before or after Mother came home at the approx. time of 4:00 PM??)- LDhummingbird said LG and Alannas older sister went looking for Alanna at 6PM
- Alanna's body was found at approx. 7:30 Pm
- Father reported to be out looking for Alanna at approx. 9:00 PM
That's what I've got. Anyone can feel free to add or correct this info. Now I need to think on this for a bit.
If mom left at noon, a neighbor saw Alanna playing with his grandchildren at 2, then MM let her go outside to pkay sometime between noon and 2. Why does 4:00 keep coming up? Thats the approximate time mom got home.
Ldhummingbirds post where she says LG went looking at 6pm
http://www.websleuths.com/forums/showpost.php?p=9677742&postcount=888
I've gone though all her posts and cannot find where she answered why LG didn't call the police earlierSomeone else must remember that? Maybe it's been deleted ?
ETA: It also states there it was a specific neighbour she asked to go play with.
However erroneously, and however much she kicks herself for it now, LG told me she did not call the police at first because she thought they would blow her off. And she had the "24 hours missing person" thing in her head, not knowing that doesn't necessarily apply to children.
BTW, it appears to me that the woman who was gardening and heard Alanna's screams when she was stuck in a tree, lives several houses away. 'Sounds like AG had a good set of lungs. (Just my opinion... it's strange the parents didn't respond to her tree predicament.)
I have sons who weren't "screamers"... so my opinion may be clouded

My middlest could say "Good morning" and they'd hear him in the next county...
But the whole story strikes me as...off. There's a missing piece of the narrative -- did somebody/something (a dog for instance) chase her up the tree? Was she playing a game that the other person mistook for a problem? Was the parental unit ignoring her for disciplinary reasons ("I've told you and told you not to climb that tree and you keep disobeying. Next time you get stuck, I'm not going to get you down.") Was she afraid to come down because somebody had been following her?
I don't mean the woman telling the story did anything wrong or that she's not telling the truth as far as she knows it. I don't think the parents are at fault either. But...? It just doens't feel right.
RSBM:
Thank you so much for this. So helpful! One issue though. My understanding is Alanna was reported to have been missing since 4:00 p.m.. Dad could have let her out to play before that and she came back or that's when he noticed she was missing.
A later timeline has the Verified Insider saying that Alanna may have been out before 3:30-4:00 as that was when she and LG returned home and Alanna was already out. So, yes it is possible that's when he noticed her missing. Other links show MM evades the time when asked in interviews. Also, Verified Insider states that LG went out with other daughter at 6 PM to look for Alanna.
Check the basement. I want everyone to be clear about 4:00 p.m. and what it means: Websleuths Crime Sleuthing Community

That's a good point actually. Did the perp run out of tape? Or could Alanna have been bound at one location where the perp had access to tape, but then moved to another location where tape wasn't at hand, and so used a belt?
