I didn't look at this teen's facebook.

Intelligence isn't a good indicator of content of character. But that's just my opinion.

I didn't say anything about character, I was just saying I think they are going to turn out to be different in other ways, other than both being teen psychopaths. (I understand why people get defensive when anyone describes a murderer as 'intelligent', but it's a legitimate data point.)

finally...knew it had to be ON that street

So did I. Someone she "knew" as in probably had talked to or seen a lot, even played with if he wanted to groom her. Who worries about the kid next door.

What a creep. I knew there was one creep on that street but didn't guess the age.

Saginaw News Feed FB says neighbors kept their kids away from him because he was a 'trouble maker'. We never heard this before, just that he mowed lawns.

Also, both the cars in the driveway (that we saw in his video) were hatchbacks. For whatever that's worth.

Whoa. This kid fits my profile completely. I can't believe they got him. I have to find some live news ASAP.

Great question. I wonder if those were cars that visited his house that day. Both cars looked like cars teens would drive, IMO. Hopefully, there will be answers to that soon.

Wondering that, too. Also, didn't it mention somewhere that this kid left town after he was first interviewed by LE? Maybe they were waiting for him to get back to town?

I won't clog up the thread Ariane discussing this point at length. But, as I said, in my opinion, the level of intelligence of an offender really has nothing to do with what they are capable of or their crimes.

Some murderers are intelligent, some may even at genius level but some aren't. IMHO level of intelligence has very little or nothing to do with the commission of a crime. Again, just my opinion.

I thought I remember that he was out of town a few days immediately following Alanna's murder, and then the video of him we had was from a few days later when LE went to collect something from his house. I'll try to find the video.

Tyler Holder, who is the primary suspect in the death of Alanna Gallagher, 4, shot an officer in the leg while he was serving an arrest warrant.

So now I believe the murder and the fires were all done by the same person.

I do too. My question is though, since LE had him pegged from day, because it looks like they did, then why the heck weren't they keeping a better watch on him???

She has the prettiest color of hair. I have a big soft spot for red or reddish hair.

I'll never understand how someone harm a little defenseless child :(

Prayers for her family.

If Tyler does survive the gunshot to the head, would he be charged as an adult or a juvenile? If he survives is there a chance in h@ll he could get off? If yes to either of these questions then I hope the boy dies and long and painful death. I initially prayed he would survive but, knowing his age and the possibility he could live and go free because of his age or a technicality...turn the pain meds down and let nature take its course. jmo

:goodpost:

No excuses from me! I was completely and totally wrong on that and I own it, I feel horrible for thinking it. And I'm sorry I even alluded to it here.

Won't happen again.

http://www.12newsnow.com/story/22910676/texas-officer-shot-serving-warrant

".... officers were serving search and arrest warrants to after DNA evidence came back linking Holder to her murder. The officers were also serving a search warrant as well.

Law enforcement sources say Holder came to the front door with a gun in his waistband, pulled it out, and opened fire at the officers."

I'm sorry if this isn't okay to say, but the bullet in his head is exactly where it belongs. Thank God the State of Texas and we taxpayers will not waste another red cent trying and incarcerating this 🤬🤬🤬. Prayers to the officer & his family.

Lessons learned. I saw this guy on facebook too but thought he was just too dumb, like others. I thought of the heavy weed-smoking low-lifes I used to know in my teens and they were just all so lazy and lethargic.

His facebook page is so dark, but I wonder if he had another side that he used to fool people (temporarily). He was heavy into gaming--I wonder if he ever wandered over to the Gallaghers and got connected through gaming, but then they saw a dark side to him and sent him packing and this led to a rage/revenge kind of action? I have no idea. I was thinking some crazy woman was responsible. I Missed it. A druggie, low-life 🤬🤬🤬🤬 just a couple doors down--why did I overlook the obvious? Hindsight 20/20. I guess I gave him a pass because I didn't associate pot smoking with the murder of a child. So sad. There is something really terrible happening with so many young men in our culture. JMO
