Why would the warrant even mention the cell phone picture unless it is relevant somehow to Alanna? Did he take the photo earlier in the day and that incited him to grab an innocent victim to rape? Was it taken just after the rape and murder?

It shows that he was into anal sex. He raped her that way. Shows a fondness for than sort of thing. IMO

I know, and to me, part of the causation for deprivation of our youth is the fear that has been pounded into their head by media ever since 9-11. There's a whole generation out there now that grew up hearing that people were out to get them. And the reason that those media serve up those messages are because they are paid to do so by gun manufacturers, to sell guns for "protection." On top of that, there's easy access to guns for teens, which isn't cool at all. It's all tied together.

Do you honestly think that guns and being told someone is out to get you...causes young people to abduct, sodomize, and suffocate to death little children? I think THOSE crimes of depravity of from people who are born wrong. We aren't talking about gun crime here. (Yes, he shot the police officer. I'm talking about Alanna.) We are talking about the most depraved thing a person can do. I don't think anything creates that, I think it's born.

And I hate guns. JMO.

It seems odd to me to, but I don't know. LE may not want that info out about his condition to the media right now, and mom could be pressured to say if she knew ?

I just feel so horrible that I was honed in on the family as being suspect. And I'm truly surprised that Holder put her panties back on after she was sodomized. Sex offenders don't usually redress their victims.

I feel relieved that the family finally knows who is responsible but know the "WHY?" will never go away.

It's just so terribly sad....a young life cut short in such a horrendous way.

She was asked to leave the hospital? WTH? Never in my life have I heard of a hospital asking family to leave. {other than if they were causing a scene or threatening violence, of course} Does not make sense. Anyone else find that odd?

I will add one more -- easy access to guns. A 17 year old with known behavioral problems never should have had access to a handgun. Had he not -- we would have one less cop shot today.

Mom must have gone to her FB page since 4pm today because her posts have been hidden and she had a photo of a gun she bought and it wasn't a handgun. I read what it was but can't remember. She does have a pic of a handgun but I think that was taken at a gunshow. Her whole FB page is now in lockdown where as earlier I could see her stuff.

You can't really prove someone else was involved in raping and killing her if there's no physical evidence.....DNA, photos, video.

As for someone being an accessory by helping to get rid of the body, then yes. There's ways to tie that in. They can take the surveillance footage and track down any friends or family members who own similar cars to the ones that were seen in the footage and look for anything that connects the car to the body...fibers, hair, fluids.

Let me try and put this a different way.
If she had DNA on her from two people, one the known perp and one from an unknown perp. The arrest warrant would state that the known perps DNA was on her. They do not have to state that there was DNA on her from two people.
If he had a helper in the rape and killing there will be DNA from a second person. We don't know this because it would not have to be listed on his arrest warrant.
True if it was a helper, someone in one of the cars that LE asked help with, just in the disposal, then more than likely there will only be the known perps DNA.

I wouldn't have thought so, but the warrant is pretty clear about his car not leaving the house on July 1, and the placement of the cameras as their reason for believing so.

I haven't read the warrant, or even all the way through the newest posts in the thread, so may be off base -- but do we know for sure that Alanna is believed to have been assaulted/killed at the suspect's home?

If she was, say, lured alive to somewhere else -- on foot -- maybe a vacant house or storage building near the place her body was discarded, he would not have had far to go on foot to place her by the curb. That belt around the tarp sure sounds to me as if it was used as kind of a "handle" for carrying.

Totally untrue. I have lots of friends who partake in both. I know plenty of straight guys who get from their girlfriends/wives, too. Sexuality is pretty fluid IMO and doesn't really stick to stereotypes.

With all the feelings and thoughts going on among all of us, I can't imagine how her family feels. Someone mentioned "closure". I don't think so. That warrant...SMH. Poor, poor sweet Alanna.

Praying that God gives her family a feeling of peace snd comfort and love that is beyond all understanding.

I just have to say after many posts about sex and violent shows and games, etc. YES we are a really loose society with all of that but all the graphic sexual and violent video games on the planet do NOT A PEDOPHILE MAKE ! I 'm sorry you can show me graph after report after study that says differently and I will never believe it ! Those things may make a teenager more apt to shoot someone but not become a disgusting child predator!!!!! Mooo, but my MOO is right on this one. This guy was likely victimized by someone as a kid and for that , I'm very sorry . He should have joined up with the ocd, ptsd and depression crowd like the rest of us and not taken it out on another child ! I wondered the same thing, but so much of the physical evidence comes from his house--dog hair, toilet paper roll, trash bags, probably the tarp. I really do think we're looking for an accomplice now.

And no guarantee this guy is going to recover enough to ever talk.

It was fast Raz, it was very very fast. You have to tell yourself and believe that and not read any more details. Shes' an angel now and sadly or happily she has lots of company today !

Not true, he could have had a helper without that helper getting his DNA on her.

I am also sure there was quite a bit of innocent DNA they had to weed out, otherwise this case would have been solved July 2nd.......yeah they have to wait for confirmation but they knew it was forth coming.

Sure they did not ignore items from G home but they knew their perp.

Yes, I must agree that I don't get where the gun convo is going beyond he shot the officer? As I said earlier, he's too young to legally buy one so I assume it's mom's and as a responsible owner she should have had it locked up.

And I don't "love" guns, but do own them and as long as the criminals have them (which, they always will because by definition criminals aren't abiding by the law anyway).....I don't want to be told that I cannot. Or that I'm some paranoid person who bought into scare tactic marketing about boogeymen because we choose to own them.

What this little b*@&(D did would have happened even if his mom didn't leave guns within his access.
