Not to be rude. I find this kind of offensive today. Today I don't give a rats behind why. Today I am just not in the mood to solve the problems or even discuss the problems of the world. Today is about catching the monster that raped a baby and discarded her like trash.
There is no good reason or cause that anyone can come up with that changes that.

Thank you. You speak for me, also!

Wow if you watch the video, I swear the black car everyone is looking for drives right past with a wide pink pinstripe.

That looks like a newer model Dodge to me, a Charger or Challenger.

Thanks for the post. Violent, sadistic 🤬🤬🤬🤬 is dangerous (not softcore erotic s&m) but the violent 🤬🤬🤬🤬 found online now quite easily. Violent disturbed people will seek it out.

I don't think 🤬🤬🤬🤬 in it's own is an issue. What I think IS an issue is that there is ready access to violent sexually abusive 🤬🤬🤬🤬 online AND that people that are into it find a 'community' of like-minded people, which spurs them on and feeds their violent desires. "Hey, there's other people like me and they 'get it'! Let's take it to the next level!"

Of course, family engagement, community engagement and nurturing underlies it all. Teaching respect and caring, for self and for others.

Here it is. FWIW, if you watch the video, the reporter mentions that the perp left the house with a woman.

http://www.nbcdfw.com/news/local/Saginaw-Child-Found-in-Tarp-Identified-214189511.html

Savvy reporter picking up on the suspicions of LE...

YES! That's the video, but they didn't show the whole thing - she comes around later.

And FWIW, I've seen her (mom's) FB page and I do think the "girl" I saw could have been her. Not that it means anything....(well, except it wasn't a girlfriend, in that case).

Thanks. I thought I was losing my mind! :seeya:

There is no rear spoiler on the car that drives by with the pinstripe.

Have followed this case from the onset---I never suspected the family--I did suspect someone close in the neighborhood--just like in Brianna Rodriquez case---if a complete stranger had abducted her I think she would have screamed---kids get use to seeing their neighbors around and that dispels their fear level...come look at my new doggy. I hope he survives so the family can face him in court----hope with the current charge and attempted murder on the cop he can serve his sentences consectively ( can't spell this ) .

She was asked to leave the hospital? WTH? Never in my life have I heard of a hospital asking family to leave. {other than if they were causing a scene or threatening violence, of course} Does not make sense. Anyone else find that odd?

I agree. She may have flipped and asked to leave. First she finds out he's shot in the head and has shot an officer AND he's being charged with capital murder in the death of a neighbor's 6 year old child. JMO

Who wouldn't flip? They'd have to commit me!!!

I keep thinking about her body being covered in an unknown liquid. Hopefully {i'm pretty sure they did} LE sent swabs of the liquid to the lab, and they can determine what it is. So odd.

It took awhile to figure out what the blue liquid was the Hillside stranglers were shooting into their victims, It was windex.

I wonder if the liquid had a chlorine smell and that is why they took the pool chemicals?

This perp to me is really different. The utter audacity and taunting at his age.

His life will be analyzed to the max and the info will go into the database for LE to have profiles for child killers.

He was made somehow and I wonder if we will find out? LE will be searching it out for their profilers,

Maybe someday we will read about it.

He is really something else

Odd choice of words though

"Unhappy"

Wouldn't be my first choice. I don't think I would be capable of anything more than blood curdling screams of no no no... Followed by drooling and fetal position. I'd loose it for sure!

I wondered the same thing, but so much of the physical evidence comes from his house--dog hair, toilet paper roll, trash bags, probably the tarp. I really do think we're looking for an accomplice now.

And no guarantee this guy is going to recover enough to ever talk.

Thinking maybe he lured and assaulted and killed her elsewhere, but brought "clean up" materials (bags, toilet paper, tarp) with him (or even had them stashed, if he'd been planning this), or went back to his home to get them. Think I read somewhere that dog hair was found on the tarp -- it could have been on there already and then transferred to Alanna's body.

Just one theory.

  • #973
I think that goes to why they were taking water/pool samples etc.

Wasn't there urine taken from the Gallagher's home? ugh.

The warrant lists the addresses of the surveillance cameras. I guess I probably shouldn't post them.

http://www.scribd.com/doc/155582773/Tyler-Holder-Capital-Murder-Arrest-Warrant-Affidavit

Page 4.

So poor Alanna indeed had a Walmart bag or bags over her head and was stuffed in a garbage bag, as news reports, statements from the kids who found her and the search warrants indicated. So this guy decided to suffocate her to death and then treat her like garbage...

Questions about the capital arrest warrant:

1) Is it really legal to try a 17 year old for the death penalty in Texas?! (I mean, it must be, or they wouldn't have been able to serve a capital warrant. But wow. We don't put anyone to death here, let alone 17 year olds. Again - this guy was sick, sick, sick and IMO deserves to never be free again. But 17 year old boys are notoriously bad at life, and make dumb choices all the time. Mix in some psycho tendencies and you get this. Ugh.)

2) If he DOES have the mental condition/disability he is rumored to have, does can they still go for the death penalty? Doesn't a mental disability preclude you from capital murder charges?

ETA: I'm from CA too and yes we do put people to death here.

I don't call stalking, luring, sodomising, suffocating and disposing of a 6 year old baby a "dumb choice". I think it may be a tiny bit worse than that.

Yes, 17 is an adult. No, a 17 year old is NOT eligible for the death penalty, OR life without parole. He can still stay in prison forever, because the capital murder offense would get him life with the possibility of parole after 40 years served. With all the factors in this case, he would be a danger to society. I can't fathom Texas letting him out.

He would have to be mentally incompetent enough to not know right from wrong. He covered his crime and lied. I think that's obvious, that he knew right from wrong. Psychologists would be brought in to determine that, though. (Obviously I'm not an expert!!)

Thanks, Blue. You got all that exactly right.

With all due respect, to me a bad choice is a drinking and driving or stealing your neighbor's tv or getting in a fight , not murdering and raping babies.

Thank you very much. I agree.

Right. Agree. That is why is said "mix all that with some PSYCHO and you get this."

Psycho and psychotic are two different things.

I totally agree. They have violent video games in all countries all over the world and their teenagers aren't killing people at the rate ours are. What is different about here? Lots and lots and lots of guns. Of course, sweet Alanna was not killed with a gun. But the cop was shot with one. And that makes me almost as sick.

IMO, we have been taught to be afraid -- there is some big bad boogie man out there who is going to take our freedoms away or bomb our buildings or rob our houses and we must protect ourselves against all this potential evil. Of course, that is mostly BS propaganda put out to SELL GUNS. But I imagine that kind of conditioning wreaks havoc on the developing brains of our kids. It isn't healthy for kids to grow up in a constant state of fear.

This has absolutely nothing to do with guns. Nothing at all. It has nothing to do with peddling fear. Pedophilic sadists are a rare, disgusting breed and neither issue in your post has ever been considered a factor in their creation. MOO.

Do you have statistics for that? I think crime happens at the same rate in many places. Keep in mind, crime reporting is not as prevalent in other countries. Neither is reporting on that crime here.

Violent crime on the part of teens in general is on the rise everywhere, including the rest is what we used to call westernized democracies (Europe, Canada, Australia, Great Britain, New Zealand, the U. S.): http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=...=_nIDl3PsycGpLhXBHhlMYA&bvm=bv.49641647,d.cGE

But violent crime is far, far higher in the U.S. than the rest of western democratic nations so the rate of violence among teens is also lower there than here. And that takes into consideration population size:List of countries by intentional homicide rate - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I just have to say after many posts about sex and violent shows and games, etc. YES we are a really loose society with all of that but all the graphic sexual and violent video games on the planet do NOT A PEDOPHILE MAKE ! I 'm sorry you can show me graph after report after study that says differently and I will never believe it ! Those things may make a teenager more apt to shoot someone but not become a disgusting child predator!!!!! Mooo, but my MOO is right on this one. This guy was likely victimized by someone as a kid and for that , I'm very sorry . He should have joined up with the ocd, ptsd and depression crowd like the rest of us and not taken it out on another child ! Don't buy it, won't buy it, won't even begin to entertain the idea of a a tv show or a video game causing this behavior !~

Bravo!

They want to know who drove him.

IMO he's dead.

I want to know who tossed the roll of red tape in the garbage. TH? Mom?

I know around our house, we don't toss half used rolls of tape. We use it all. Either someone's been sitting on that roll of tape for 3 weeks, or someone finally found it and realized it must be gotten rid of.

True that especially with the adjective in front so unhappy

I guess "unknown liquid" is throwing me off. If she was wet from a pool/hot tub, they would be able to smell the chlorine, right?

By unknown liquid I am thinking (and may be wrong) that the liquid was still wet when she was found. Something that had not absorbed into the skin. Being that she was wrapped up, the air didn't get to that liquid to dry it out?
What about a lubricant?

Fwiw, I don't think the warrant says a *roll* of red tape, does it? I think it just says red tape. For some reason I pictured discarded/used tape, or the tape used on something else.

This is probably a conversation for elsewhere, but yeah. I think the gun culture plays a part. I think our violent and oversexed culture in general plays a much larger part than video games do. I think video games are easier to pinpoint, a thing that is easy to point a finger at and say "Blame THAT."

The best prime time shows and hit movies have lots of violence. We're conditioned to see it and not even blink. Day in and day out. Same with sex. I don't mean nudity, I mean sex. 🤬🤬🤬🤬 is free and in abundance, television shows have gratuitous sex scenes, movies, everything. It's constantly in our faces. I don't blame those things anymore than I blame video games. But when you have a person who is "broken" in some way already and you give them this constant barrage of sex and violence, it's hard to believe it doesn't somehow make them numb to the atrocities that they could commit. But it's not an excuse, not an answer. There has to be so much more wrong with a person to get to this point.

You hit the nail on the head.
I've been reading all day, just decided to post.
I was going to say something similar.
This is not about video games and weed.

To me, it's about our broken society, broken families, loss of innocence and too much access to "anything goes" on the internet.
Our children are exposed to everything while we are all distracted by media, tweets, texts, instant gratification, you name it.

Let's be honest, we're all glued to this thread and the next development.

This young man was twisted. He acted out his urges.
I believe some cannot control themselves. It's in their "wiring". :twocents:

Key word is "acted out". Teenage boys have weird sexual urges. They watch pron, it's easily accessible now. That makes me very sad.

Years ago, I found video tapes in my son's room. He was in HS. He renamed them with movie titles. Yes, I admit I was snooping. When I found them, I threw them in the garbage. He accused me of destroying his "friend's" stuff.

I said; sorry too damn bad. This is unacceptable. Face your friends and tell them: "My Mom threw them away. We're in trouble now".

That's all for now. Friend just called, all upset about her 18 year old daughter. High sports achiever being abused by her "coach".
