btw, saw both of their FBs along with their friends' FB & photos before they were edited. I am also familiar with Boyd before a certain developer built a nice addition of half a million+ homes.

Or she did when he was younger and earned her trust. He was 17. He did have a job for a bit and claimed to be looking for another. He mowed lawns. I will assume she works full time.

IMO it's easy to fool mom.

My own is 15, I do check his phone periodically. I do check to make sure he's where he's supposed to be. He's working full time this summer.

I do trust him. I feel he's earned it. I no longer stand over him. He has his own iPhone & iPad.

Fwiw, I don't think the warrant says a *roll* of red tape, does it? I think it just says red tape. For some reason I pictured discarded/used tape, or the tape used on something else.

You're right, It doesn't specify roll. Though I'm the opposite of you. I can't picture loose red duct tape hanging around the house for three weeks. Or just happening to be on something that suddenly needed to be thrown out. I think it'd been squirrelled away (balled up remnant pieces from July 1st, or the remainder of the roll used July 1st) and now shoved into the garbage. It will be interesting to find out more. :seeya:

It certainly seems as plausible as my theory.

I wonder if LE has been nabbing their garbage every week, or they just got lucky yesterday? I wonder if the tape was the specific reason the takedown was planned for today.

Agree... Some people in this country look down their noses at alternative lifestyles but have no problems watching shows like "toddlers and Tiaras" (a Pedo dream show IMO... *gag*)

Thankfully we often vacation abroad where people aren't so uptight! Naked doesn't bother me. regular ... I don't care.
In fact. if my teen wasn't interested in sex at all, I'd be very very scared!

I've seen where mine has cruised a few sites and viewed nude pics. I don't care! If he was viewing sex with animals, bizarre twisted sex, I'd worry.

We have taught him to respect woman and the only conversation I've had specifically about ... Is that I felt sorry they had to do that for money. I pointed out they have parents and maybe siblings. Could be a wife and mom some day. My goal was to humanize those girls.

I feel sorry for Tyler's mom and I haven't looked at anything about her. I realize what he did is horrible and I'm a huge child advocate. I obviously can't even imagine what the Gallaghers are going through. The choices that Tyler made do not necessarily reflect on the kind of person his mother is. Lord knows my 16 year old has made choices that do not in any way, shape, or form reflect my values. And at 17, what exactly was she supposed to do about what he posted on his FB? It's quite easy to judge what someone should do but until you have had a teen that acts out, you really shouldn't judge. And by acting out, I'm not referring to murdering a child, I'm referring to him playing video games, flipping off a google camera, smoking pot, etc. I'm horrified at the entire situation and can only imagine how much pain his mother is in along with the Gallaghers.

The 17 year old from two doors down, the one with dreadlocks. Tons of physical evidence tied to Alanna, including the red tape, garbage bags, toilet paper roll, and DNA. They sent in a tactical team to arrest him this morning and he shot and wounded a cop, and was shot in return. Both he and the cop, as far as we know, are still alive.

The details of his arrest warrant were released, and unfortunately it spells out everything, including that she was raped and asphyxiated with a bag. It's not known, however, how he got her to the dump site, and the two cars are still questionable/possible accomplices.

Given the topic of discussion on this thread is the murder of a small child who has been sexually assaulted, please provide any links, studies, data to support your statement that being a 'prude' makes nakked bodies too enticing for some.

I think in general, when things are seen as "forbidden" certain personality types will be all the more drawn to them in a bad way. I was responding to posts about , not about murder, at the time.
