What a sick man or should I say thing because he cannot be human to do what he did. This is one of the most disturbed things I have heard, but just when I think I have heard the worst something comes around much more sickening. Rip little baby boy.

Amanda, IMO, only someone EVIL could have committed such an act. I agree with you though, just when I think this is the worst I've heard something else happens that's even more shocking. This broke my heart.

Caren attended the memorial service:

"Mommy loves you so much," said 27-year-old Caren Kohberger, reading from a letter she wrote to her son. "Thank you so much for giving me the best three months of my life."
Speaking in front of a dozen friends and family members at the Living Stones Church on Victory Lane, Kohberger said she missed napping with her son and the way he would light up with happiness during baths.
"There were so many things I was looking forward to — your first step, your first tooth, your first word, your first day of school, your first dance, your first date," Kohberger said.
She said she had a whole life planned out for them and must now accept that Alijah will never grow up or have children of his own.
"I miss you every second of the day," Kohberger said.
Kohberger left the service clutching a blue teddy bear, declining to talk to the reporters stationed outside. She's also hired an attorney and refused to be interviewed by police, authorities said."

There is a lot of information in here about Mullis, and the trouble he has always seemed to find. A former neighbor who was former LE wanted to move rather than have his own child grow up near Mullis.

Police have released little information about Mullis, but records show that he lived in the Baltimore suburb of Abingdon, Md., for about five years as a teenager.

In Abingdon, Md., a former neighbor said Mullis' questionable behavior prompted his family to move.
"My wife had just given birth to our son and I sat down and said I don't want our kid growing up next door to this guy," said Ben Wind, 38, who was a Baltimore police officer at the time.

Made threat

Among other claims, Mullis told the officer that he'd spent time in a juvenile detention center and even threatened to poison Wind's dog.

"He has been a problem child and did nothing but bad stuff," said former neighbor Jim Burns, 38, a line technician. "This kid was just blank the whole time. It's like he was empty."
Former neighbor Craig Monath, 31, a salesman, added, "He was a strange kid."

Now it makes sense why he could execute his son in such a fashion. His son didn't touch him. Neither did killing him I bet. Wonder if he turned himself in because someone else was about to...

Any further details on the father??:furious:

No one did anything to prevent this tragedy. It seems many people saw many warning signs.

Yes, he's showing remorse the cops are saying. As of yesterday he was still in Philly and is not fighting extradition back to Texas. Galveston police are looking at his impounded vehicle. Here's to hoping we didn't lose it along the line cause that wouldn't be a first. God forgive me for again dissing my beloved city. Anyway, TJ/DJ's high school teacher said he was respectful and finished his homework on time. Yeah, ummm good. I'm sure Ted Bundy did too.http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/metropolitan/5510362.html

I don't know how anyone can not break down after looking at that beautiful little baby boy's picture and then reading what that monster did to him. I just don't understand how anyone could do something so horrible to a baby. The s.o.b can show remorse until the cows come home and it wouldn't touch my heart for a second. He killed that baby...now do the right thing and kill him if that state has the DP. If not give him LWOP and put him in general population. Someone will crush his head ...guaranteed!

Why did he have that baby in the first place? Did he kill him at home and was the mother there when it happened? If not, where was she and why didn't she report this creep after he was gone with the baby for so long?

The last I read the trailer was not considered the scene of the crime-LE needs the car to determine if it happened inside or outside the car.:behindbar

  • #194
if he stomped on the poor baby's head, he couldn't have done it in the car??

Yes-my guess is that he laid the car seat down next to the car and did it however. Deliberate, calculated, diabolical. I don't believe he has remorse at all, but I am sure LE wants him to feel like they give a sh** so they can get him back with minimum fight.

I think the crime happened pretty close to where the baby was found. Why did he have to take the baby in the first place? If he was angry, why couldn't he have just left???

"Mullis, 21, surrendered to Philadelphia police Friday, telling them he had put the 3-month-old baby on the ground and then stomped him to death, police said."

The more I read that about putting the baby on the ground and then stomping him, the angrier I get. Why, why, why??? I hate to think about having evil inside of myself, but I could easily see torturing him to death.

This is quite understandable-who can defend these precious lives if they are not safe with their own parents? Why are people so careless about their children?

I was speaking with my wise mother about these cases, and my Mom said something I thought was important. I was ranting about children not being valued, and she pointed out that people do not feel valued themselves these days. People do not feel valued-they feel disenfranchised and that will color how they will treat their children.

Reannan, I had terrible visual thoughts about I would do if I could my hands on this guy. I almost felt sick to my stomach thinking that I might be capable of doing this to another person.
