Brazoria County District Attorney Jeri Yenne said an arrest warrant was issued Thursday for Travis Mullis, 21, on a felony charge of enticing a child.
Yenne said sometime during January, Mullis removed an 8-year-old girl from her bed one night as she slept and took her to a school or park area where he asked her to remove her pants. The child reportedly got upset, and Mullis returned the girl to her home. Yenne said the incident happened at or near the mobile home in Alvin where Mullis had been living with his son and the boy's mother.

Wow, this guy has some serious problems. I hope he didn't try to molest his own son, but it looks like that is a big possibility.
I know it has me scratching my head too:waitasec: .He seemed to be a caring father on the myyearbook thing.I am thinking they may find him dead of suicide.
That charge of enticing a child I can't ignore either.I just hope he is found soon
The thing about these sites though is that they are, a lot of times, social fronts. Most of the time people don't advertise that they are frustrated with their home life, a pedophile, cheating on their significant other or having anything other than such a GREAT life. Especially when they have people they care about or want to impress on their friends lists. I think I started to look at these types of sites differently after I saw the Myspaces for that couple in Reno. The ones that were accused of starving their children (one to death!) and living in a trashfilled home because they were too busy playing computer games and surfing the internet to take care of their 3 children. Yet the Mom's Myspace was ALL about her children and taking care of them. It even had a huge rant about about how the problem with todays kids is that other parents do not pay enough attention to their kids
. I definitely think that it is possible that he was frustrated with his life and parenthood even though his webpage does not show any signs of it. I am not saying that is true but I am not letting his page rule it out for me either. Just my two cents.

I wonder how long ago this was. It says sometime in January but that could be really recent...as in days before he went missing.Has anyone else seen Caren's Fubar page? She posted a blog on the 29th of December saying that she was now single because some men are (badword)s who can't handle having a family. She asked if there were any single guys out there that liked babies.
She also posted a blog yesterday that was a plea to help her find the man that murdered her baby.

I would say that her FubAR page shows that things were not well with Tj. As for the baby, he is the chunkiest, sweetest little thing. There is something very, very wrong with anyone who can take this angel down...The more I read, the more I think that Dad was clearly on the verge of some very aberrant behavior and I think he focused his rage on his son. JMO.

well whatever time zone it's in, it's the same day that her husband left with her baby.
I dont know if anyone else was able to check out the mother's fubar site that I gave the link to. I finally got time to read through it all. It has over 100 blogs. I have to agree though with her friend there that told her that she needs to remove some of them. She wrote everything in them from her being on medication for PPD to giving away personalized "private" pictures of herself to anyone who would purchase her baby a baby gift. In my heart I really don't think she had anything to do with her baby's death but honestly I would be worried if I was her lawyer with this much personal information out there for the world to see. Maybe I am just a prude though. At the site it seems she really wants TJ caught and behind bars and she says that she wants to turn the page into a memorial for her baby after his murderer is caught.

I am totally addicted to my computer; especially WebSleuths! :crazy: I can't imagine, however, blogging or posting to any websites after my baby had been found murdered! This is strange IMHO. I realize everyone copes differently, but I'm just saying......

He turned himself in! He is in custody! I hope they beat the hell out of him. I think the mother is involved. They are now reporting that she is under suspect now also.
Good deal!!! Do you have a link??? I think the mom is involved as well. I'm extremely suspicious by nature though. We'll see.

Police say there are inconsistencies in the mother's story and they say she is refusing to talk to them at this point. The DNA samples could be back with a match in the next few days.

You know, I hate to sound like an old fuddy dud here, but I have worried for a while now about kids growing up who are inundated with MTV's The Real World, and shows like The Bachelor, etc. I have said that if I were currently in college, and majoring in psychology, I would initiate a project where I would evaluate kids who are 18-20 years old, and then follow them for the next 40 years. I think it would be interesting to see how their lives evolve. These shows and things like instant messaging, Myspace, etc. have created a new version of reality. They live lives in cyberspace that are out of sync with real life. Perhaps, my little diatribe has absolutely nothing to do with this case. I do believe that many people today seem incapable of coping with difficulties. When the going gets tough - they nut up.
