GUILTY TX - Alijah Mullis, 3 mos, stomped to death, Galveston, 29 Jan 2008

  • #301
Wow what a heartbreaking story this is.
The Mom seems to know a whole lot. When she made the choice to have that baby she took on the role to protect & love him.

Mullis needs locked up forever. Not only did he kill his own son, but he was going to attack an 8 yr old girl.

It would of been over my dead body someone would of taken my baby knowing what she knew. LE could throw me in jail for being non compliant. But he'd never get him........:furious:

Cheko, what is worse is that the baby was the insuarance Mullis would come back. This child's mother wanted Mullis to come home so by leaving him take the baby she figured he'd have to come back. I mean that's a sin.

I don't recall the name of the book, but I remember it was about life after death, and the part that fascinated me, was the concept that we all know before we come to this earth, what our fate is going to be. In fact, we choose what role we will play. We may choose to be a homeless person that is begging on the street, and thereby, give a more fortunate soul the opportunity to show compassion. We may choose to be a murder victim, and thereby, touch the hearts of people in ways that is beyond prediction. I am not sure I believe all of the book, but the concept was really great. When I look into the eyes of this child, I see a soul that was more wise and mature than any of the people who he encountered in his short life. I do believe that he is comfortable tonight, and resting. I believe that a lot of people closely connected to this case will suffer the rest of their lives - and that is a good thing. I think perhaps some of them, may suffer for eternity.

What you said is very heartfelt Reannan~ what a beautiful thing to say about that cute lil baby. I too, saw his "old soul" in his eyes- He is in a much more peaceful place tonight- thank you for your kind words- they speak volumes :)

The lil guy does seem to be an old soul as my mom calls it. Unfortunately though his little, short life was cut short so violently. Reannan, I think you may be correct though that this baby is at peace. Meanwhile, can somebody tell me why in the heck this Caren was in New York? Bellevue she was in? There's no mental health facilities where she's from? Mullis up here in Philly then her in New York?

That's what I'm wondering, Filly.

"A FBI spokeswoman said Kohberger was arrested after she was released from Bellevue Hospital’s mental ward Tuesday afternoon. She is being held in a New York City jail awaiting extradition back to Texas."

I wasn't aware Bellevue allowed internet access, hmm.. anyway i hope she is having a fun stay at Rikers until her extradition.

Well if she is in a mental inst she is still logging on to her myspace..........Yep thats sick..

Her myspace now cancelled................

The MySpace is up and running as of today. I am agreeing with your previous post though that it is probably not hers. I noticed that the "wifey" comment was left April 2006 so I am thinking it is one of his previous relationships. Was he married to the mother of his two other children? I am surprised no one has tracked her down for an interview since they have gone to past employers and friends. Although, if I was her I would probably be laying low to protect my children and busy thanking my lucky stars for getting him out of my life.

Not that she can log on, but she is supposedly in a mental health part of a jail. Technicality though as she's locked the heck up. I was reading somehwere else and someone has captures of her F*bar Blogs. This chick is a piece of work. She actually wrote a blog how hile pregnant she couldn't feel her baby kick and her Medicaid hadn't kicked in and so she LIED and called an ambulance. Told the EMT workers she fainted. Of course the rest of the Blog is all about how poorly she was treated at the hospital. **Get this though and it warrants littlse astriks. She asked the ER Doctor what the sex of the baby was? She ten said he replied "What do you care? You should be glad the baby is alive.** Honestly I don't believe any Doctor said that to her. This is a person who requires alot of attention and wants her own way. Manipulative. She busted herself with some of them Blogs I'd say

Riker's Islands does have 2 Mental Observation Units, so i'm guessing Kohberger is being held in one of those.
I think the mother may have a bigger role in this case than was originally assumed. What i don't understand is why she is fighting extradition.

Here is a link about Riker's Mental Observation Units in case any are interested:

From what it seems, this young couple are both involved in that innocent baby's death, and they both are probably going to try and pull the "crazy card" to escape the death penalty. Disgusting.

Wow I havent kept up with this in a while, so the mom had a hand in this?? Omg that poor little boy.

I don't think the mother is involved beyond allowing the father to take the baby with him after telling her about his flashbacks and threatening to do something to children. That's bad enough all by itself. imo.

If my SO stomped my baby's head until he died, I would have to be in a mental ward.

The mother has been acting guilty; first by calling hospitals to report them missing instead of LE; then by refusing to cooperate with LE, and by taking off to NY to check herself in; lastly by fighting extradition. It seems if it were just for the fact that she let Mullis take the baby as "security" Mullis would return to her, she wouldn't have went to such extremes as she's done. Then again, different people handle things differently. I just feel that she may have known Mullis' intentions on some level, and that LE knows this which is why they got a federal warrant to extradite her.

What does one do when out of jail when your baby has been brutally murdered? Just thinking out loud.

Caren Kohberger surrendered herself, and posted on her $20,000 bond in 17 minutes and she's outta jail.http://www.myfoxhouston.com/myfox/p...n=2&locale=EN-US&layoutCode=TSTY&pageId=3.2.1

Forgive my stupidity please - how does bond work...Does someone have to post it for you, do you have access to your own assets, therefore enabling the person to do it themselves etc, is it something an attorney would do for their client?

I'm asking because if she has 20k to post bond with, wth were they living w/ another couple, and if she has 20k to play w/ well......Lol, I'm afraid if I post it I'll get banned, so let your thoughts run wild.

I think it's 10% in most jurisdictions, so $2,000. Her family may have put up their home to get her out.

A bail bondsman would surely be involved.
