Expanded search for missing Harrison County family remains fruitless
The ongoing search for a Harrison County family last seen Nov. 17 has still returned no results.www.kltv.com

Snipped...
...Three family members were seen on a game camera recording two days later.
Thank you so much! I don't like the feel of his case. I hope his family aren't paying the price for things he's (allegedly) involved in. JMO
The money limits put in the charge of money laundering is based on the Texas Penal Code which makes $2500 - < $30,000 a state jail felony. PENAL CODE CHAPTER 34. MONEY LAUNDERING. NOT including the controlled substance charges and any prior charges for which the warrant was outstanding he's looking at up to 2 years in jail and $10,000 fine. But that's likely not his biggest worry with money laundering. That means he is likely part of an organization involved in the drug trade IMO. I did check Anderson County judicial records and outside of the jai notice, there's no active case filed as yet.Aw man, i thought i fixed that when i posted the second link! I’ll post the screenshot here if that helps. The first picture with the “W” beside his name indicates he has an active warrant out in Anderson county & the second shows some more details on the arrest i referenced.
Police said in one of the news stories that they “believe he’s a lawn care specialist” to be clear that’s not a direct quote I’m paraphrasing but i thought it was notable that no one was able to verify what he did for work.Questions - what did Gerardo do for a job? How long have they lived in Marshall? Do either Alondra or Gerardo still have family possibly in Mexico? No, not a racist statement. I live here in Texas and there are many, many people with close, extended family still in Mexico. It is not unusual for them to go to Mexico for an extended stay but usually at Christmas when the kids are out of school. However, if that were the case, seems like they would have let someone know if there was a family emergency. Also, not uncommon to cross the border if things get hot on this side. If that were the case, they would probably not have told anyone, but how would they get there? Could someone have picked them up for less than nefarious reasons? Since both vehicles were found at home, if they are not on the property or close by, someone had to take them somewhere, or there was access to another vehicle?
The drug charge resulted in a Class A Misdemeanor Conviction with 1 year sentence adjudicated. But if the recent drug/money laundering arrest resulted in charges being filed (may have been, just not in the system yet for viewing the records) THAT case is going to factor into sentencing for the current arrest. From Harrison County Court Records: https://portal-txharrison.tylertech.cloud/PublicAccess/Search.aspx?ID=100Gerardo also was arrested back in 2017 for Possession of Controlled Substance, Driving With An Invalid Driver's license and Expired Registration.
There's also an arrest from Oct 2023 for Reckless Driving and ABANDONMENT/ENDANGER CHILD INDV INT/KNOW/RECK/CRIM NEG.
I live right outside of Marshall so i can confirm you’re correct, there are Ubers but it’s certainly not common place. I think it’s also worth mentioning their address is Marshall but they are probably a 20-30 minute drive from the “city” of Marshall. I’m not familiar with their area specifically but just speaking generally about the area it’s extremely isolated.Hi Kmag - his family not wanting to talk is interesting - they know something? Or they don't want to talk to the authorities due to a general distrust? If my understanding is correct, at this time, no passport required to enter Mexico, but some form of documentation - driver's license - to come back into the States. That could have changed in the last few years. Which still leaves the question of - if they went anywhere at all off the property - how? If their vehicles are accounted for, someone had to pick them up. I doubt there are tons of Ubers in Marshall, unless it has grown dramatically since i was last there! Buses run up and down I-20 up there, but I'm sure LE checked into that.
What is her family saying?

I also find the money laundering charge in general really peculiar. East Texas has gotten extremely heavy handed about “engaging in organized crime” charges here recently, but in all my years, I’m not sure that I’ve ever seen someone here being charged with money laundering. (I know it’s happened, it’s just out of the ordinary)The money limits put in the charge of money laundering is based on the Texas Penal Code which makes $2500 - < $30,000 a state jail felony. illegal gambling maybe? Big poker game that the authorities had been watching?I also find the money laundering charge in general really peculiar. But even more so the fact that he was charged with it “onsite” & without a warrant seems so weird to me. How would you prove something like that on scene without a prior investigation?
Another one.He has another fb page: Log into Facebook

School leaders say concerns about the missing family grew when Alondra did not show up to work on Monday and her children did not come to school.
