Authorities are searching for a 42-year-old woman reported missing last week.

• Andrea Abshire was last seen Wednesday, Feb. 24 getting into a black Mazda Miata convertible in the 12300 Block of FM 1960 W.
• She was last seen wearing a hoodie and blue jeans. She was carrying a grey and black backpack and a camo purse.

Anyone with information is urged to contact the Harris County Sheriff’s Office Missing Person’s Division at 713-755-7427 or the Houston Crime Stoppers at 713-222-8477.

I wonder what time of day/night she entered the vehicle. I don't use FB, so if it mentioned that, then I missed it. Did FB say anything about her, such as job, marital/sig-other status, kids, distance from the pick-up place to her home -- was this spot local to her?

There is very little on her Facebook. Basically, she lives in Houston, TX, is from Portland, OR, and she updated her status as "In a relationship" on Feb 17, 2020.

I haven't seen what time of day she was seen getting into the vehicle but there is enough detail in her the clothing and vehicle description that I would speculate daytime. MOO

Yes, indeed! And it looks like someone has done some great sleuthing on the owner of the Mazda Miata. I hope LE is looking into those leads.

Andrea was wearing an unknown colored hoodie, and blue jeans. She was carrying a gray / black backpack, and a camo-type purse. Andrea has a star tattooed on her left hand, and another on her right elbow. She also has the tattoo of a girl riding a horse on her left leg. I can find no info about her being found, and no obituary, plus the info on the site above is the same missing info from upthread, so JMO this is for her memory and must be for a comfort to her loved ones.
