The skull was originally discovered 6 months prior but was officially reported on May 1, 1996.

I cant help but think of the scene from Family Guy where Peter finds the skull of an Indian chief and decides to keep it and play with it. People can be so strange.

The number 13 is gang related as well. Not sure about the cat being gang related but the P***y word is used by the gang m13 dang it, I will have to go back and look that up. I do know some of slang from volunteer work. The cat could be a tag the 13 in the middle it stikes a connection for me to gangs

I agree with @Carrie Ann. I thought of MS13 when I first read the description. They have a history of "satanism." There was a case in Houston awhile back where a member killed a 15 year old girl because Satan "wanted a soul."
