WFAA reporter saying jury looks bored, zoned out…..sounds like all of us
I missed the last fifteen minutes by making a conscious choice to start some Spanish rice in the kitchen.
Much better for my mental health (and stomach).
This trial is working my nerves.
IMO.

But you know what no one tested him for? Disorders that are actually more accurately indicated.
Would there be a reason as to why the state wouldn't hire their own psychiatrist? Or did they do that and I missed it?

Oh boy, now on to T’s musical abilities.

Yep defense, reminds us all of Jingle Bell Rock!

They did & will be a rebuttal witness.

May I wrap this up for the jury?

TH, despite any adverse childhood experiences and any actual diagnoses and even his personal drug history, knew right from wrong. Took steps before and after to prepare for and conceal his freely chosen, outrageously brutal crimes against Athena.

The exemptions to the DP are protections against executing perpetrators of crimes who are so severely impaired by disease or defect that they were unable to know right from wrong. Civilized society absolutely cannot execute individuals such as these and remain civilized.

Individuals suffering severe psychosis, individuals with very low IQ (like below 70).

There is nothing protecting TH from the consequences of what he knew was wrong but chose to do anyway.

The poor jury.

This is the biggest waste of time. IMO

TH's mother was "happy as could be" when she was on drugs, according to Grandma.
What on odd thing to say.
IMO.
I thought 'happy as could be' was the main reason people do drugs or am I missing something? If his mother was angry, depressed and beat TH unmercifully when she was on drugs that might be a different story. moo

Maybe don't boo hoo about TH not being able to raise his son, Ms. Jackie.
Athena's family - right there in the courtroom - will never be able to raise her, either, thanks to your grandson.
IMO.

Being a freeloading couch surfer must have been so stressful for poor TH. Sheesh.

Enough already.

Gross.

Defense asks TH's grandma her happiest memory of TH....

4th grade.

Athena will never see 4th grade.

This IS NOT the time and place to ask TH's family how "this" had impacted them.

So the same girlfriend who is sitting with him knows she had sex with him after he assaulted and murdered a child and has known since this surfaced? She didn’t that night i would assume but did after and does now? And she is still sitting with him or am I wrong about this part

This actually sickens me to the stomach

It is basically blaming Autism and learning difficulties for his murdering of Athena

Autism groups should be outraged . There is enough misconceptions and generalisation for those on the spectrum without this chit show

I wonder would the spiel of a kindergarten teacher on Tanners issues be holding any weight for defense if it was one of their children he murdered . If it wasn't so serious these witnesses would be laughable but anger is rising in me like the bile these 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 are spewing
I sure am outraged. Autism doesn't make you a murderer. Far from it! Moo

The State is handling cross of Grandma gently and magnificently.

TH should’ve listened to his Mimi. He has wrecked the lives of a lot of people.

Done for the day.
That was pretty unremarkable.
IMO.
