I have seen many LE be dreadful witnesses but all these LE witnesses have been very good so far, thoroughly professional, articulate, aware of how to answer questions properly, I am very impressed, Athena and her family couldn't have asked for better LE when she was taken, and they worked so hard to bring her home alive, the defendant did not give them a chance to do this, so they worked as hard to find her body and collect evidence to make sure they had a solid case to prosecute TH,

yes, they hope to take the focus away from the admitted murderer who has plead guilty and make it about the mean old police harassing a poor autistic mentally ill man and his crippled grandmother. Won't work. But when your client has already plead guilty and you are trying to save his life you do what you must IMO

Lt. Bruce Sherman with the Texas Department of Public Safety was a Texas Ranger in December 2022 when Athena Strand was killed.

Sherman said he was added to the case in a supporting role and that when he arrived, there were a half dozen or so other Texas Rangers and FBI agents at the scene working on the case.

Sherman said his initial tasks in the investigation were to use social media and work with the intelligence and counterterrorism division to locate potential online leads and preserve anything online that could be used as evidence.

Sherman said part of that was identifying the suspect's associates and looking for any abnormalities in posts, and that if they found anything interesting, they would look into it further.

He said part of preserving that information was working with the social media company to lock the account, preventing anything from being removed or edited.

Defense is phrasing their questions in such a manner as to convey info they want the jury to have, such as "are you aware that Strattera is prescribed for . . " No I am not.

eww. that shed he and cassie and their little one were living in is a hot filthy cluttered mess. If that was where they lived rather than the house because Tanner deemed the house too filthy for his son to learn to walk in I don't know that I want to see those photos
