It happens for sure. It brings to mind the case against Karla Homolka & what she and her rapey husband did to her own little sister and minds were changed big time and they were calling for it.I would be interested to know if there are any people who disagree with the death penalty, have changed their mind with this particular defendant.
Many people think that the "State" could have an innocent person on death row. But, in this case, that is not the issue. TH is definitely guilty of killing Athena, with brutality. There is no doubt.
The only problem here, is the lengthy appeal process. Fast track him. No is going to give TH a pardon. Or reverse the death penalty decision.
I am just wondering how long it will take the jury to determine if TH should merit the death penalty.
Once people know for a fact it went down the way the state/prosecution says it did, with the details included, it drastically changes opinions.
In Athena's case, I don't think I've ever seen a case more rock solid, with horrific video/audio evidence to back it up. I'm pretty sure this is a most sickening first of it's kind, in our day.
