An Austin police officer was charged with injury to a child after home security videos allegedly showed him beat his 2-year-old son, KVUE-TV reported.

On June 17, Cedar Park police went to the home of Austin PD's Officer Cameron Caldwell for a report of child abuse, according to KVUE, which cited court documents. There, the mother of Caldwell's two children showed authorities five videos that allegedly showed the officer beat his 2-year-old and 4-year-old sons. A Nest home camera inside the kids' bedroom captured the videos, KVUE reported
