You are welcome, geevee.

It seems that KPRC (NBC) - Houston, TX is the only TV station in Houston that is consistently covering the trial. So far, there has been an update every day.

I am so glad I read Kathryn Casey's book, "Shattered . .. " and the Appeals document Linked up-thread was most informative!

Looks like KPRC is no longer providing daily coverage. The Houston Chronicle was still doing so as of yesterday. I imagine all the channels will cover when Heather finally gets called to testify...at least I hope!

When does Heather testify?

When does Heather testify?

We don’t know. Some reports were saying this week, but they can only guess. She is on the prosecution’s witness list is all we know for sure.

Witnesses in David Temple murder trial discuss his relationship with wife

Tammy & Quinton Harlan testified today. IMO, since Quinton and David were both engaging in inappropriate contact with her, Heather will not be far behind. Please Heather, please tell us what you know.
Hi, My3 Sons!

I hope you don't mind but I just wanted to indicate the source for the above with the date. So .. . I don't get in a state of confusion. :)

KPRC (NBC) News - 6 PM (CDT) - 7/19/19
re David Temple re-trial

I watched the 6 PM (CDT) News on KPRC (NBC) - Houston, TX.

There is no video up yet.

Per the reporter, Heather Scott Temple (HST) testified today, Friday, 7/19/19, for the Prosecution.

HST testified that David Temple did not talk much about his son, Evan.

HST's testimony wrapped up today.

Harlan Quinlon, David Temple's close friend, also testified today.

This was not a very informative report. I am hoping that KPRC will have a more detailed report on their 10 PM News or post a more detailed video.

RE: David Temple re-trial

Snipped:

"A wife filing for divorce in the middle of her husband's murder trial is never a good look," commented well known attorney Dan Cogdell, who spent some time watching the testimony Friday.

"That said, she is clearly not trying to hurt David Temple's case. She's going out of her way to include responses not asked in the questions. It's clear she's still trying to help him."

I am convinced she knows he killed her, and she even got a huge ego boost out of knowing David killed Belinda for her. I guess it was too much to ask for her to have gained a moral compass after all these years. MOO, of course.

I wish we could get some more details in the articles.

Can anybody clarify what Temple claimed concerning his alibi and the parks? This had to have come up when he testified during his first trial, but I can't find it anywhere, even in the book Shattered.

I don't exactly understand your question. Is this of any help?

Testimony: David Temple's alibi differed in police interviews

Thanks Ann -- this part: "David Temple told a law enforcement officer that he didn't take his son to the park the day of his wife's killing in 1999, contrary to his initial statement to authorities, according to testimony on the eighth day of the ex-football coach's murder retrial." is confusing to me. Do they mean he changed his account about going to Peckman park, or the smaller park in his neighborhood or both??

The reason I am confused is because on 48 Hours Temple says on camera that they went to the neighborhood park. I also wish I knew what he said in testimony during his first trial regarding where they went but I can't find it anywhere.

Ann, I think I found the answer. It looks like Temple claimed he went to the small park, and then they decided to go to Peckman but then Evan wanted to get a drink and go home instead. I found this in one of the appeal docs:

"According to appellant, he drove his blue, short-bed pickup truck to the small park in his neighborhood, Cimarron Park. Appellant testified that shortly after arriving at the park, he and E.T. decided to go to a larger park, Peckham Park, several miles away, north of I-10. Appellant claimed he stopped at a Brookshire Brothers grocery store north of I-10 where he purchased drinks and cat food. Appellant and E.T. were videotaped entering the store at 4:32 and leaving at 4:38. Appellant testified he then decided to go to Home Depot to look at shelving for the baby's room. Appellant and E.T. were videotaped entering Home Depot at 5:14 *583 p.m. but were not videotaped exiting the store."
