Victor and Mary Jimenez are heartbroken as they prepare to bury their youngest daughter. A body found on August 12th near the banks of the San Antonio River was identified as 28-year-old Bianca Jimenez on Wednesday. "We were hoping it wasn't her, but when we got the call we already kinda knew", said Mary Jimenez, Bianca's mom.

Bianca Jimenez was the youngest of four sisters. She graduated from Southwest High School in 2004 and later worked at Capri Hair Studio near Interstate 10 and Huebner Road. She had three nieces and four nephews.

She had recently broken up with her longtime boyfriend and had started making new friends in a bicycle group about six weeks before the disappearance, her family said.

“She loved art and music,” Mary Jimenez said. “She was a very beautiful person. She loved everybody and just wanted to be loved.”

You've been resting peacefully Bianca, but now the time has come for someone to be held accountable for your death.  I hope they haven't had a moment of peace since taking your life, and are feeling very anxious, fearful, terrorized, knowing LE is breathing down their necks.  Earthly justice will come.

And judging by the comments here, people who knew her/them suspect the ex, not the date.

Generally speaking, and thinking about cases I've followed, it's very rare that the new guy commits the crime, versus an ex...
Because an ex is just that, they tend to be more possessive, jealous, and angry because they failed; whereas the new-guy is working on developing the relationship, and is in the trying to impress stage...

KSAT published an article focusing on statistics of missing persons in San Antonio Police Dept's jurisdiction that "Bianca's death serves as a reminder." The numbers are staggering.
Discovery of missing woman highlights adult disappearances
By Cory Smith
SAN ANTONIO - The discovery of 28-year-old Bianca Jimenez's body Wednesday highlights the reality that the search for the missing is not always confined to children.<snip>
Over the past three years the Missing Persons Unit has handled nearly 1,500 adult cases. The statistics surrounding missing adults were enough for the Heidi Search Center to change it's 24-year-old mission statement to include adults. Like detectives, Calloway said her staff does not care how or why someone disappeared.
"Whether they walked off or they were abducted, we just want to be a resource," Calloway said.
Leanne Bearden is also mentioned in the article.

RIP Bianca.

The most recent article I could find is from August of 2015.

A year later, the death of Bianca Jimenez remains a mystery

The death of 28-year-old Bianca Jimenez still remains a mystery, and the Bexar County Sherriff's Office has an open investigation into the case.

We pray for her every day. Everybody loved her, this is just like unbelievable," said Mary Jimenez, Bianca's mom.

Jimenez went on to say the family even turned to a private investigator at one point hoping he could piece together what happened. "He also couldn't, couldn't find anything you know."

Jimenez hopes someone who knows something will come forward.

So, after a few years I checked on this case again after driving by her house and remembering this story. I realized that I cannot find anything on James Enger. He has completely disappeared from the internet. Also, what was the name of the ex-boyfriend?
I recently talked with a friend who was Bianca's realtor, she mentioned how her and her ex-boyfriend were together for about 10 years and that Bianca was trying to start a new life without him. There is very little information on this case and if anyone has more details, that could help determine what could have happened.

I knew Bianca well, for about 4 years. Her ex-boyfriend, in my opinion, was possessive and an incredibly jealous person. I know they used to get into physical altercations as well. They had been high school sweethearts, she broke up with him when it all just became too much to deal with, his BS.
He was in her apartment waiting for her to come home, he broke in. Hence the broken glass.
She fled, fearing the cops would show up and she would get in trouble as she was on probation for a DWI.
I firmly believe her ex went looking for her, caught up with her and things got physical. I don't think he intended to kill her, I think it was an accident and he then dumperd her body on the river.
