The body of missing Newark resident Billy Vaughn was located Wednesday in the area where he was last seen Feb. 9 in Newark, according to the Wise County Sheriff’s Office, which reached out for the public’s help in finding him earlier this week.

The body of missing Newark resident Billy Vaughn was located Wednesday in the area where he was last seen Feb. 9 in Newark, according to the Wise County Sheriff’s Office, which reached out for the public’s help in finding him earlier this week.

What a joke!! Billy was found 25 ft from where he went missing and it took these incompetent LOs 43 days to locate my deceased brother. If they would have done their job properly and actually gave a , we could have found him the day he went missing and atleast had an open casket for closure. They have let the people responsible for this heinous act go free and live life without a care in the world while the family is still in complete shock!!! Wise County SO and Lane Akin is the lowest of the low and sorry excuse of Individuals. We the family are closing in on their neglectful actions and this will soon be reopened.
