TX - *Blue Alert* Sgt. Kaila Sullivan, 43, killed on duty, Harris County, 10 Dec 2019 *Arrest*

Nassau Bay Police Sgt. Kaila Sullivan, 43, was killed during a traffic stop Tuesday night. Police said she was assisting another officer with an arrest when she was struck and killed by the suspect, who was driving a Jeep.

Overnight police surrounded the suspect's mother's home, but after making entry it was determined he was not inside. The Harris County Sheriff's Office later released a photo of the suspect, identifying him as Tavores D. Henderson, 21.

An updated blue alert Wednesday night said Henderson was last seen just before 2 p.m. Wednesday in Missouri City with a man identified only as Anthony. Officials said Henderson is possibly headed to Louisiana in a red Buick with a Texas license plate and dark-tinted windows with the rear window busted out.

Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said Henderson is facing a felony charge of murder. Call Houston Crime Stoppers at (713) 222-TIPS if you have any information on his whereabouts.

Records show Henderson has multiple criminal records for assault on a family member. Another photo of him from the summer of 2019 comes from a previous arrest in Montgomery County.

I've been following this case on FNN since it happened.

I'm so thankful they have found this horrible violent man.

So many police officers are losing their lives while being killed in the line of duty. Now Kaila has also stood her final watch.

I pray for her devastated family, friends, and her brothers, and sisters in blue.

May Kaila rest in eternal peace among all of the other heroes who have been taken by senseless acts of violent offenders.

Henderson’s mother, her boyfriend arrested in connection with helping him hide from police
Tavores D Henderson bond set at $150000.
Tiffany Monique Henderson (Tavores mother) is now charged with Hindering Apprehension.
Perhaps this tidbit of information will further piss us all off:
Tiffany Henderson was already out on Felony Bond for Injury to the Elderly and Resisting Arrest.
HER criminal history includes a measly 9 Felony Convictions since 2002 of which 3 resulted in her actually going to Prison.
Additionally, she racked up 7 Misdemeanor Convictions.
So all together, Mom has been convicted of 16 offenses since 2001.
That apple didn't fall far from the tree.
Shame on Harris county for continually allowing these violent offenders back on our streets.
