Do we know if this was a random kidnapping?

Whew, let's hope it was random, for the sake of young boys and girls, but if it is part of a ring, maybe this arrest will lead to a whole bunch of 'em getting caught and put in prison forever.

The article does not tell us how they were able to find the k'napper and the boy -- no real details given, so maybe LE has some more investigative work to do... If so, we probably won't hear much more than we already have.
