I thought she was with Lostandmissing? I could be wrong. How long has she (CC) been involved? Does anyone know?

I couldn't give you a date but I believe since just recently when the 911 call came out. She just created the B website.

Tom Green is the county San Angelo is in. This guy was found deceased in the Grape Creek area which is on the north end of San Angelo and not close to where B went missing. My guess is it's unrelated. Just MOO.

What's interesting about the Brian Plunkett story is his body was found in an area previously searched. It happens all the time. Searching every inch of ground is no easy task.

I can't understand why LE will not give permission for a legitimate SAR team to come search the new ping area? Keyword: legitimate. I have no idea who they are trying to bring in and most legitimate SAR groups will not search without LE permission and rightfully so IMO. So the questions remains, why? Either they are just being nasty or they don't believe he's there or they are hiding something. The latter of which I doubt. They may be ticked at LL for releasing the 911 tape but IMO that is not a valid reason not to allow the search. And then I question whether they have PROOF that he is not in the county and on the run? LE would not disclose this if they did for obvious reasons. He is wanted by the law. IMO they don't have that proof but it's possible. I also read that there was a very small search by LE of the new ping area and nothing was found. That should be considered rumor until we get more information.

IMO LE needs to make some type of statement.

IMO a reward fund needs to be setup outside the $1000 offered by crimestoppers.

IMO pressure needs to be put on LE to allow a legitimate SAR group to thoroughly search the area of the new ping. And if they have a VALID reason not to allow it they need to say something. I realize that they may not be able to divulge everything but a brief statement would suffice.

I questioned all along what the reason was for releasing the 911 tape. And we have an answer. To get media attention and put pressure on LE to allow a SAR team to come in and search the new ping area. IMO this is a valid reason. When your hands are tied and you are trying to find your loved one you do what you must. Some say they would be parked at the Sheriff's station yada yada and such, but in reality this is a much smarter thing to do. Remember that the Sheriff and his superiors etc are elected officials and this is not good PR for them. So IMO if they have a valid reason for not allowing a SAR team in they need to make a statement. IF not, the public needs to put pressure on them. Just MOO.

I just don't know what to think anymore. I read on Missing BL website and I do have the same question as to what happened to the other deputy. I also find it odd that it's the Sheriff's wife reporting… I've said it before and I'll say it again… this seems like a HUGE conflict of interest.

LE has got to know more than what's being said (why do they even think he was no longer in the county) or it makes me go hmmmm even more.

It is a huge conflict of interest and it's strange. I have no idea if they know something or not. Personally, I doubt it. I've seen some of MM's comments on various sites.

I have asked from the beginning, where were the Deputies responding from? What are their call times? They should do a report on every call and it should include call times such as this:
Call received at 911 time
Call dispatched to deputies time
Deputies enroute time
Deputies onscene time
Deputies clear time

It's a very small county and I don't know what their protocols are but at the very least they should fill out reports for their calls and it should include call times or call logs.

I'm lost? What is the comment about the other deputy? Is it just a rumor that MM's husband was out of town that weekend or is it fact?

I don't know if that's rumor or fact. According to reports, Deputy Fox and Deputy Neal both responded to the stranded motorist call. One heading on 277 to the North of Bronte and one heading to the South. We heard that Deputy Neal reached B's truck at the same time K and A did. In MM's reporting (shown on the missingbrandonlawson page) she comments several times about deputies (with an s) arriving at the truck but in all other accounts we were only told that ONE Deputy arrived at the truck and that would be Deputy Neal.

She also reports that they were responding to a stranded motorist call by a passing trucker about a vehicle running out of gas. How would a passing trucker know B's vehicle was out of gas? And why wouldn't the trucker give the EXACT location of the truck? Why the need for TWO Deputies to be dispatched?

This is all basically outlining the discrepancies in MM (the Sheriff's wife reporting). Visit missingbrandonlawson.com for the full details. I am just paraphrasing here, but these are some valid questions IMO. And for me it has caused some confusion. As I've always said, the discrepancies seem to be coming from both sides. Not just LL's side.

I have to run and meet the school bus, but I wanted to say, if someone can find a way for us to increase the reward money, I am checking into the combined federal campaign. We donate to a specific charity through hubby's work. He & I would be willing to redirect our donations to the reward fund. I am having him check into how we would do that on our side of it. But I firmly believe that we need to get the reward higher to get people talking , tips..etc..

Okay, much clearer picture , private and corporate donations. So families nor LE are dependent on having to finance them.

Thanks :)

Yes, that is how I understand it as well. In my opinion there is no limit on saving a life or finding them, but I also understand that the resources to find someone can run out. People give up because they go on with their lives and begin to forget. I would think in order to have a better understanding of what happened that night, one would have to actually walk the area to have a better understanding of what could have happened.

I thought it was said, I think, on the missing site that Sar cost 25,000. Is that correct? I thought they always donate their services.

The only place I saw mention of $25000 was by TEXSAR in an article and they said it cost THEM (TEXSAR) $25000 to do the search.

I believe TEXSAR is a non profit. Some SAR groups charge and some are non profits that do it free of charge and survive on donations and such. TEXSAR is a really really good SAR group from what I understand.

I have no idea who they are trying to bring in now for a new search.

This is an interesting link. Not sure exactly where this is in the oil fields of Texas, but kind of scary that there are sightings as such in the oilfield and photos. I think these are more South Texas as well.

I'm not positive but I think the dailymail is one of the media that is not allowed here on WS. There are a few very controversial type reporting agencies that WS does not allow. You may want to ask a mod? Again, I'm not sure.

My dad has always said they are really great.

Hopefully a large group will search. Is the terrain in that are bad for a mounted search? Like maybe to much brush or rocks?

They remind me of the tabloid mags at times.

Just a thought, at anytime in the US, there can be 35-50 serial killers working. John Douglas ( one of the reasons I went into criminal justice late in life ) said that. And I believe it is true. Take a look at the overwhelming amount of people who; 1. Vanish, 2. No traces found , ever. And this isn't even looking at the people who go missing and are never reported because of life style, no family etc...

Scary thought.
