I am still open minded about both theories, but I lean toward the theory of Brandon is deceased at the hands of some unsavory characters he met up with for some reason on the night/morning he went missing. I am of the belief it is Brandon on the 911 call and someone was with him. I think his brother was trying to protect him and that is why he lied to the cops. We need to remember both of the boys had been or were using illegal drugs. That does not make you friendly with LE under most circumstances. I am not holding this against either one of them because I think Brandon needs to be found.

The fact that L thinks he is deceased I certainly understand. She feels she knows something very bad has happened to Brandon because she KNOWS he would never leave his children. That is why I think she jumped to this conclusion. Not because she is guilty of something, but because she loves BL so much she knows he would never leave his kids. JMO

There are plenty of questions I have that do not fit the scenario for me too. Some of the things LL says seem to be half-truths or not the full answer.
#1-How does your cell phone charge in the van at night if it isn't running? I think most cars don't charge your phone unless it is running. Nothing wrong with this question at all. Please just answer how this works.
#2-How can Brandon get in touch with you if he needs to? Do you still have the same phone number? I am sure if he goes to LE and is found, they know how to get in touch with her, but BL wouldn't. She moved I think because she did not have the means to support her children and had to do something. Would I have done that? NO! But I have never been in that situation and really don't know what I would have done.
#3-There are conflicting stories about when gas was purchased. Sometimes it was purchased and put in the truck that night and Kyle went home. Other stories report he was seen around 7AM purchasing gas and stayed looking for BL all night with work friends. Is this a case of faulty reporting? Please clear this up.
#4-Where is BL's pick up now? Not that it really matters, but what happened to it. I know it was towed. Does LE have it still? Good question.

I am sure if I sat here long enough I could come up with more questions that are making me think he could really be in hiding, his family knows it and that is why they stay so quiet, but I really don't think so. I don't think LL had anything to do with BL missing, but I am a pretty trusting person. I take people's word until I find reason not to and I think she is truthful for the most part and evasive on a lot of things. I don't trust everything she tells as the gospel truth.

I do enjoy reading all of your thoughts. Some of the ideas you guys come up with I would never consider or think of on my own. Then when you start discussing it, I start thinking hmmmm. That might be right. Ya'll are doing a great job.

:bump:

Where is Brandon???

I wish there was some kind of news or update or something. It seems that as time ticks away everyone, including those who are supposed to be closest to BL have faded away, which is what I think they want to do anyway.

It also seems so strange that ever since the 1 year anniversary vigil things changed with this case. The usual posts are not being made, no chatter whatsoever. Seems quite strange imo.

Its sure has gone very quiet on the HFBL page. Too quiet. I am sure the public that has followed and tried to help are wondered what the heck has happened. So sad, but I worried that Brandon would be forgotten over time. :waiting:

You would think keeping the public & media involved would be a priority. Why so quiet? Why no more searching? Many of the followers of the FB page have offered to help with searches.

Does anyone feel that maybe LE thinks or knows if he is hiding out? Could that be why the silence from LE , as well as from the girlfriend & family?

Could they have all just moved on and no longer want any active searches or media attention?

Brandon needs to be found. The silence is deafening, maddening, and very telling as well. :gaah:

Where is Brandon??

All this is JMO, IMO, etc...:moo:

:bump: Bumping for Brandon!!

:desert: Why is it so quiet?

:rollercoaster: Will Brandon ever be found?

:maddening: We all have tried so hard to find Brandon, someone/s out there knows something!

:jail: The truth will come out, it always does. No matter how long it takes, it will happen.

Where are you Brandon?? :prayer:

I'm with everyone else...going back and forth on what I think happened to Brandon.

Still praying he is found so his family can have answers.

Where are you Brandon?

Was it ever established that his truck was really out of fuel?

  • #48
It has been mentioned that he could be 'up north' North in Texas or North where? He would have to have some sort of id to get a job? Unless it was cash under the table...what about Mexico?

I've wondered that since the beginning. If fuel was put into the truck at all afterwards, we have no way of knowing. Even if someone pretended to put fuel in, we would never know.

As a native Texan...."up north" has always meant the northern states, not north Texas. I have always talked about North Texas as the Panhandle. Just my thought tho as a local. He could be in Boston or New York working with a fake ID too. I really don't think so, but it is sure a possibility.

Well I went thru Bronte today. I will say this as nicely as I can. There has been 3 or 4 roadside memorials put up in remembrance of Brandon Lawson, the first was poinsettias (not for sure on that), next was a yellow ribbon, next was red white and blue ribbon, then the cross. Every one of them have been put in a different spot. [modsnip] Yes his truck was on the right hand side but probably approximately 1/4 a mile north ( I didn't measure it).

Brandon where are you?

These are my thoughts and opinions.

I have a question if anyone could answer , would be awesome! Since Brandon had a warrant before he went missing, and since LE has not said there is foul play involved, how does that affect his warrant? Does it become a fugitive warrant? Since there really is no proof of anything except that he is missing. I'm just wondering how that would work since he has missed any court dates etc... Does the warrant just get like a hold placed on it?

There is no method to my madness, just thoughts that pop in my head from time to time on this case.

Thanks in advance! ( TIA )

I have been reading over every news story again about Brandon's case. This one story at the end of the article intrigued me quite a bit.

http://ireport.cnn.com/docs/DOC-1069759

Following a conversation with Sheriff McCutchen and Ranger Nick Hanna, the investigation has turned elsewhere and will not include any further searches unless new detailed information arises. Currently, tips to Crime Stoppers have investigators searching for Lawson in other areas.

I wonder what the other area were/are? I wonder what the tips were. Very curious!

Could be the tip that was supposedly made stating he was seen in the Benbrook area, I think at a super cuts or barber shop type place. But then I've seen posts where some believe he could be in other states, Tennessee, Oklahoma & even Alaska, so who knows.....

That could be. I just wonder what has led LE to look in other places. So wish they would make some kind of statement. Its just so quiet. When you see cases like Christina Morris or Heather Graham, you can't help but wonder why Brandon's case has seemed to fallen by the wayside :(

Was the warrant worth running away from though? How long in prison would he have got? To always living looking over your shoulders, not seeing your kids grow up etc. I really don't think he's run away.

That I would have no idea on. I do know he did prior prison time. Not sure if Texas has a three strikes law or repeat offender law that would have caused him to have more time.

Texas has 3 strikes. It's a 99 year sentence.

 Is that for any three crimes or just serious ones? That seems incredibly harsh. That changes things then, I guess. If he was on his third strike, that is.
