Might that be a girl's size 18/20 top, with a measured weight of 90 pounds? That's a thin person!

For the measured height of 5'5", 111 is the lowest weight of the Normal bracket. 90 pounds is medically underweight.

What Is My BMI?

Homeless/unhoused?

Their remains were decomposed, and 90 pounds was the measured weight, so I assume they weighed more while alive.

Stupid question, but, when it's said that the original analysis of the remains resulted in the female classification, are they saying that this UID has breasts and female external genitalia? Was decomp not severe enough to impede identifying those features? Was a forensic autopsy not performed and internal genitalia not seen??
If so, and this person looked clearly female, I think it's also possible that it could have been someone with a condition such as androgen insensitivity syndrome or Swyer syndrome (in which case, if ever reported missing, they might be classified as sex: woman). Statistically, it is more likely that they were a transwoman, though. Wish we had knowledge of why PD initially classified this UID as female.

My initial thought was pelvic width and outlet shape.

NO direct knowledge of these remains.

If so, hormone replacement therapy during adulthood has no effect on bone structure. Since the TDTF only just picked this case up, hopefully more info comes out!

Hmm.

"At the time of the incident, police said it was a man's body that was found. An update on Thursday morning, however, indicated the victim was a female."

Police had initially said it was a man's body but later said the body belonged to a woman.
