Verdict - guilty. Sentenced to life in prison.

Boyce, who was diagnosed with Asperger syndrome, showed very little emotion during the trial. Though he did put his head down on counsel table during a break Wednesday. His shoulders shook for a few moments before a member of the defense team comforted him.

A few minutes later, his face bore the same nonchalant half smile that he wore throughout the entire proceedings.

Jarvis said his client plans to appeal the verdict and the sentence. “It is a tragedy that Breanna died. But I think it is still a pretty open question of how she died,” he said.
