Gilbert disappeared on the evening of Tuesday, March 30, during a break on her shift at Plains Dairy (300 N. Taylor). Video surveillance shows Gilbert walking to the Plains Dairy Parking lot just before 8 p.m. that night, and coworkers may have seen her talking with a Hispanic male in the parking lot around the same time.
So did coworkers see her talking to someone who MAY be Hispanic or she may have talked to someone Hispanic? Meaning, did they actually see her talking to someone? IMO
That's what I want to know! It's so vague.

* May have been talking to someone or not
* Coworkers may have seen her (as opposed to a supervisor or other witness having seen her)
* May have been Hispanic or not
* May have been a man or not

What does "may" refer to? My 8th grade English teacher would not accept this sentence!

I agree that I think the text makes sense in the context of the conversation and is not odd. It was sent about halfway through her break. I personally think everything was OK at the time she sent it, so whatever happened to her, probably happened between 8:17 and 8:30 when she was due back from break. Just MOO.

I don't know if we know if she smokes for sure, but even without a car, I would bet smokers would walk over to that parking lot for a smoke break. There may even be an accepted "smoking area" where smokers tended to gather. Maybe she wasn't hungry/wasn't eating on break and instead just went to smoke. Or if she doesn't smoke, she may have just wanted to get out of the building, get some fresh air, and do stuff on her phone for a bit.

I am very curious about the man she may have been seen talking to. There is a street right in front of the parking area as seen by the Google Map posted earlier. Depending where in the parking lot she was, she may have been visible by walkers/drivers going by and someone may have just seen a woman alone and approached her. JMO
This is the sense I also got from the new context of the “I love you” text. That she was ok and everything was normal at that point.

I tend to agree, but it could also mean:
* Someone else had possession of her phone and replied what seemed to fit, to avoid the other person from realizing BG wasn't replying

* Someone set up both ends of the conversation.

I tend to think it was BG sent the "I love you" text, but we really don't know.

If it was her, seems like whatever happened to her can be pinpointed to that moment since the conversation continued without her replying from that point on.

Someone please remind me: We know about this text exchange because of the girlfriend's phone, not because BG's phone was found? We don't know where BG's phone is, right?

Yes - I believe you are correct - messages came from the gf's phone. Nothing has been said about Brianna's phone

I agree the man the coworkers may have seen her with is probably key, but we don’t really know for sure that she left with him. We only know they MAY have seen her talking to a Hispanic male in the parking lot. A local said there are homeless camps around there. He could have been a homeless man who approached her for something, left and has nothing to do with her disappearance? I mean, I think it’s more likely the man is important, but we just don’t know.
Thank you for the correction. I must have mixed some details with another case. So there's no definitive man and no vehicle? I guess surveillance cameras didn't cover the parking lot or she would have been seen leaving.

Are there any restaurants / food outlets within walking distance of her workplace? Where did she usually take her break? Did she go out alone or joined her coworkers? How long has she been working there? Any other places nearby where she could have run an errand? Gone for a walk? Did she have any cash on her?

Agreed. I smoke. I'd walk a block on a break to catch a smoke.

Street right by parking area? Perhaps she had planned to meet that person?

The "may have or may not have" makes me think people don't want to get involved.

If it was someone homeless almost always they ask for change or a smoke. Usually not suspect to abduct anyone. Though it happens.

Where is this poor girl?

I’ve just gone thru her Facebook friends on that profile from 2017. I see many of them live in Edmond Oklahoma. Anyone know how long she’s been in Amarillo?
Family is in Oklahoma, good question. I wonder what brought her to Texas?

When poking around on SM I could not establish the timeline of Brianna's current relationship. It looks like it's been kept private. IMO she's too young to be the children's mother.
I agree. I never want to downplay the gravity of a missing person's case, but in this one I'm not getting a danger vibe, but more she left of her own accord.

My questions - how long has Brianna been in Texas, was this relationship the reason she moved, does her SO work outside the home, were there recent non-relationship issues/pressures weighing on her, is Brianna independent and may have felt stifled by the needs of a person who is dependent?

The "hispanic man" she was talking to in the parking lot, may have been a woman who she left with voluntarily. Perhaps at 22, she wasn't ready for a serious relationship with children, too much pressure.

Just some thoughts, I'd obviously lean a different way if other information becomes available that places her directly in danger.

She left with someone who was seemingly not recognized by her coworkers, so I don't see it being work-related. The man who picked her up is key, IMO. If he's not family nor a coworker, what was he doing at her place of work? This seems prearranged. Would she leave with a stranger?

There is no indication that she left with anyone. We have no idea whether the person people briefly saw her talking to was there to pick her up.

If someone was there to pick her up even though her girlfriend usually did makes it sound like Brianna planned to leave. Maybe she felt suffocated by the relationship. All speculation.

I'm hoping this case ends up like Alexis Cavazos. Left her wallet behind but took her phone.

"...coworkers may have seen her..." to me means the coworkers are not 100% positive it was her that they saw. Just my two cents. MOO

Like others, I think this sounds more like a voluntary disappearance than anything nefarious and I’m thinking Brianna left in a vehicle with someone. Which argues, to me, that the “Hispanic man” is a red herring. If I planned to disappear during a work break, I see no reason for my driver/friend to exit a vehicle since I have no luggage to pop into the trunk. I’d just hop in the car and go.

You could certainly be right.
IDK though, if there are two little children involved, I would hope she wouldn't just abandon them/the family. ATM, I see foul play, subject to change if other information is revealed.

adding the link to her Facebook- Brianna Gilbert

I think that fits with the way I interpret the redundancy of time in those texts. I can’t seem to say exactly what I’m thinking.

Is the current relationship the same one she was in during the 2017 Facebook?
Interpreting that relationship would appear that she may have been in a difficult and controlling one.

Here are some of the comments, bolded parts by me.

I'm never giving up I will not ever to be the one that will walk away I love her and yes we fight we say things we don't mean but I wouldn't trade a single day to be with anyone else but her like she has changed me for the better I love you like look at us we will make it

I just wanna do a shoutout to my girlfriend sorry baby you think I'm being distant I love you so much and I can't wait to start our future together it's going to be hard but we've got this I love you so much and I can't wait to hold you again you are the best thing to happen to me and I can't lose you ever we have been through a lot already and ik that we can do me leaving for bootcamp and then it will be easier but baby I love you so much like I've never had these strong of feelings for anyone I mean look at you like look at that smile your such an amazing gf you care so much about me and I love you more and more everyday.

(I’m not sure who wrote that as brianna responded to the post, “Me either baby like I love you a lot”, which to me is a short response to that long post. )

Hi there- I’m so sorry I didn’t include it in the post. I’m sorry you guys are dealing with this and hope we can help.

I took those comments from this Facebook page. It was linked earlier in the thread. I hope it is the correct one.

Does she have a connection to Edmond, Oklahoma? I noticed several friends from there. Just wondering if it would be a place she would go, IF she were making that choice.

If she was overwhelmed with the relationship and wanted out, wouldn't she have confided this to someone, a friend or family member? MOO

If someone isn't sure what they actually saw they aren't going to say unequivocally she was talking to a Hispanic man, just that it appeared that way to them.

@Taylorbgilbert gilbert - Thank you for being here Taylor. We will all keep digging and do our best to offer up ideas/tips that LE can investigate. A few questions for you. If you don't know, no worries.

1. Was Brianna & family having money challenges? Do you think she borrowed money from anyone, or might have done something a bit outside the law if she needed money badly? Is it possible someone came to collect on a debt?
2. Is there a known bio father anywhere in the picture as it relates to the children?
3. Had she expressed or demonstrated notable anxiousness or fear in the days leading up to her disappearance?
4. Was she on good terms with her Partner? Did her Partner have any male exes who might have seen Brianna as a threat?
5. Does Brianna have any medical conditions (no need to name them) that might cause her to be confused or flee?
6. What else do you want us to know about Brianna that might help find her?

-Roses
