Found Safe TX - Brianna Morgan Gilbert, 22, went missing during shift break, Amarillo, 30 Mar 2021

That’s what I’m wondering too. But it sounds like the co workers didn’t know who he was. Worrisome.

It doesn't sound as if they knew who he was according to the newschannel10 report:

Video surveillance shows Gilbert walking to the Plains Dairy Parking lot just before 8:00 p.m. that night, and co workers may have seen her talking with a Hispanic male in the parking lot around the same time.

I wonder if this man was picked up on video surveillance at all that evening?

I just hope it was a quick chat with a co-worker while on her break and nothing more nefarious.

I'm guessing her car isn't still in the parking lot? She is missing after she drove off?
I don’t think she had a car there at work, as reports said her SO came to pick her up at the end of what would have been her shift, only to discover she was not there.

Oops, @swanniee11 beat me to it! ;)

So why did Brianna go to the parking lot if she didn't have a car - could it be to meet this man? If so was it pre-arranged?
Maybe it was break time, fresh air/ smoke? I wonder if she did go out to the lot often or if this was a one time thing. IMO

This doesn't sound good at all. It sounded like she knew she was going to be in danger and was saying goodbye and I love you? I sure hope not.

Amateur opinion and speculation

According to newschannel10 it was her lunch break:

Brianna went on a lunch break at her work place at plains dairy at approximately 8:00 p.m. and she had a 30 minute break, but she didn’t return back to work to complete her shift that evening

Did the workplace have any cameras? Over entrances? Parking lot? Anywhere? When she went on break, did she actually go into the parking lot or was she "may have" gone into the parking lot. Could she be in the building?!?

Well, you wouldn't go out to the parking lot on your break to eat/smoke if you didn't have a car. So, she must've gone there for some other reason.
The Hispanic male that was seen talking to her..... it wasn't randomly timed, he was told to go there specifically at a certain time, when she was on her break.
And to not even finish your shift tells me either:
a) she was taken against her will.
b) she didn't care about her job and was ready to start a new life elsewhere.
MOO.

Texas woman texts ‘I love you’ to significant other, then disappears
When her significant other arrived to pick Brianna up at the end of her shift that night, Brianna was not there.

Doesn't sound like she had a car. IMO
I really don’t like the fact that no one seemed to notice she hadn’t returned from her break. If she was on a meal break, she was probably working 4pm - midnight. That’s 4 hours she’s unaccounted for. A long time. The “I love you” text doesn’t sit well with me either. Was that unusual for her? I don’t like where my mind is going.

Me either!!

Where was the supervisor, not noticing an employee was at her assigned task?

Good question because surveillance video shows her going TO the parking lot. But then the workers said they saw her in the lot talking to the man. I guess no parking lot cameras.

Okay, I didn't realize she was on camera going to the parking lot. So I'll assume the same camera doesn't show her going back in.

Now if we could confirm there actually was a man in the parking lot she talked to.

Thanks.

It’s weird! But maybe it was the kind of job where people just sometimes left and didn’t officially quit so it wasn’t totally surprising? I’ve had jobs like that.

‘Just come home’: Family of Amarillo missing woman asks community for help

The couple have two daughter’s and Magallanes says Gilbert seemed excited for Easter.

“They were crying, they were saying they miss her, they loved her, they just want her to come home,” said Magallanes.

According Gilbert’s mom, Brianna does not have a driver’s license and that night she left her wallet at home.

“She has no money, she has no ID, she has nothing,” said Misty Lynch, Gilbert’s mom. “This isn’t like her not to reach out. Just come home.”

Hmm, what’s going on here...?

This is very worrisome.

Doesn't sound like she just walked away from life voluntarily.

The significant other is a female, confirmed in the article:

“I’ve been waiting to pick her up every day,” said Seriah Magallanes, Brianna Gilbert’s partner.

At around 8:17 p.m. that night, Gilbert send a text to her partner saying ‘I love you.’

This is getting more and more concerning! What in the world happened to Brianna?

Call me cynical but my mind immediately goes to the signifiant other. Were there any problems in the relationship?

The wording of that "may have seen" from the co-workers and video makes me wonder whether they're not sure it was her, as well as not sure about the man.

That who the "usual suspect" is in most cases.

I wonder if they met in the parking lot during lunch breaks in the past?
