Yes I think it was the VI’s first post, and I don’t think that one was reinstated. She said coworkers thought they saw Brianna either hugging or struggling to get away from a Hispanic man. Maybe she’ll come back and confirm. This makes the coworkers account more believable to me. They may have thought hugging, but after finding out she was missing maybe they reconsidered that she was struggling?

Questions i'd like to know:
How often did SO meet her on her break?
Were they currently in a 'not so good' place as a couple?
Did they have an argument before she left for work?
Did SO often text the ILYSMucchhhhh type messages or was it reversed?

The ILY response seems just a more 'non emotional' response to the one she got. Something seems 'off'. I'd like to know more about how she was at work that shift and what, if anything, transpired right before it.

Hi all - just started following this case. At first, I was highly suspicious of the coworkers because of them not reporting her as missing until later, but after catching up, reading through the thread and watching the video, I don't think that what happened to her was related to her job. I am on the fence as to whether this was a voluntary disappearance, or possibly foul play.

Although the situation is somewhat different, this case reminds me a little of that of VB <modsnip: Full name redacted; please use initials only>, who vanished after her shift at Home Depot - when her mom went to pick her up, she wasn't there. There was silence from her co-workers, seemingly ominous and suspicious. There was no contact with her family with whom she was very close. However, she had been fired just before she was seen walking off. The investigation uncovered that she had bought a bus ticket to NYC though no 100% confirmation was available. Eventually (several months?) she contacted her mother and told her she was safe, wanted to start a new life, etc...

So someone mentioned there was a bus depot nearby, I hope surveillance video from there has been pulled, at a minimum, but if I were her family/friends I would definitely put up posters of her or ask if anyone has seen her at the bus depot. Easy transportation to get elsewhere fast.

I do hope she just wanted to get away and start fresh - but there is enough in her relationship at even a surface level to warrant digging a little deeper into the possibility of foul play. Time will tell.

I'm really pleased that LE released the footage of Brianna from that night.

Here are my observations from the footage:

CAMERA 1

Brianna leaves the Dairy via the gate then turns right towards NE Third Avenue. On the far right a male appears on screen but before they pass the footage is cut.

Why is the footage cut before Brianna and the man pass? Do they stop and speak to each other? Does he work at the Dairy?

CAMERA 2

Brianna is seen on NE Third Avenue. She is first seen either just having talked to or walking past a male. He immediately walks out of shot while Brianna carries on walking up NE Third Avenue. Just after she has left the man she looks over her left shoulder twice in quick succession, and as she is about to leave the camera shot again glances over her left shoulder.

Is the man the same one as seen in Camera 1? Did they speak to each other and has that footage been cut or did he simply move out of the way to let Brianna pass? Does he work at the dairy? Why did Brianna glance over her shoulder, did she think the man might be following her?

CAMERA 3

Brianna is seen crossing N Taylor Street to the parking lot.

Not much to see here except that Brianna seems to know where she is heading.

CAMERA 4

Another angle of Brianna crossing the road to the parking lot. As she enters she looks over to her right for 3 or 4 seconds, and then starts to veer to her right before the footage ends.

Did Brianna look over to her right because she spotted somebody? If so did she know them or not? And when she veered to the right where was she going, she seemed definite about the direction she was heading in? And why was the footage cut while Brianna was still in shot? Did someone else appear on screen shortly afterwards.

It looks to me as though Brianna knew where she was heading when she entered the parking lot, but what happened after this is still puzzling. If the man (or men) on camera's 1 & 2 worked at the Dairy then their information would be vital as they are probably the last person(s) to see Brianna before she disappeared.

As far as I know, it's strictly rumor. The person who first mentioned it had heard it second hand, and I haven't seen it mentioned anywhere since.

From this camera 4 angle, it appears that she is slightly veering right to the middle of parking lot vs. heading straight down the parking lot, following the line of parked cars.

She's walking with a purpose with what looks like a destination in mind.

So there were multiple coworkers who saw her with a man? Where did they see her? Where were they at the time? In the parking lot? Or perhaps they drove by? Were they on camera at any point? If Brianna was in the parking lot with the man, but out of camera view and not close to the building where she worked, the coworkers were likely also out and about.

Could this be another female that she passes in the video and not a man? Could this person have eventually followed her out across the parking lot and behind the semis? (But from the other side)

I think the SO has too much to lose. But I'm not ruling out other competition of Briana's...

according to google maps- A&W. so on them, as obviously I am not there like you are.

And I would love just another few seconds of video at the end- I think it may show where/who. If not going to eat, meeting someone in the employee parking lot ? Head scratcher without more info

Ok I headed down there this am. This A&W is a some sort of transfer business, not a food joint. Whatever it once was, it’s closed now. I walked in all directions for a few blocks and there is no where to eat or get a drink.

I snapped some photos and a video but it’s taking forever to upload as I’m on my phone. As soon as it’s uploaded I will share it here.

someone else asked about a sidewalk around the parking lot for Brianna to walk around. No. The parking lot cement goes to the road and yeah she could have walked on it, it doesn’t go all the way around the parking lot.

I'm sorry if this has been covered, do we know if Brianna is reporting to a probation officer and if so, when her next appointment was?

I've been following this since yesterday and a few things stand out to me.

1. in the texts from the SO, while Brianna is supposed to be at work, she says she's worried because she hasn't heard from her in 3 hours. Without knowing what she actually does at work, it just seems a little weird the SO would worry because she hadn't heard from her. Unless of course they normally text throughout Brianna's shifts while she's at work? That would be weird too.

2. the narrative the SO is relaying to the media about their relationship, and the description Brianna's sister here is giving, don't appear to line up. At all.

3. the video is excellent - and no, that's not a poncho, that's a Baja hoodie. Big difference.

4. She didn't look to be in a hurry at all, and as if she knew exactly where she was going. A person who doesn't own a car or drive, walks into a parking lot then vanishes? I'm guessing she met with someone and left in their car.

even though there's no sidewalk, her veer in the parking lot still has me thinking she spotted a car or person that she was determined to find on her break. moo


on the texting note, I don't think the texting is weird, it does showcase codependency but back in the day I would definitely ask my partner what was up if I didn't hear from her in a few hours, and vice versa. lots of different forms of connection and communication.
having dated multiple genders I will say that when I date women, comparatively the texting is off the chart. aka get yourself unlimited texting lol. moo!

BG doesn't take her phone out of her pocket the whole time she's walking. She walks straight to the parking lot (doesn't stop and stand around). This seems to be a routine and like her SO she said she usually meets her up there but not that day. Why not that day? Did she even have her phone that day?

Given what we know about her from the VI relative I’m struggling to imagine a scenario in which she would fully orchestrate her own ‘escape’ from a living/romantic situation she didn’t want to be in. She would need considerable help, and that help could only really come from someone she knows and trusts. I’d love to know more about her social circle - who she might have been sufficiently close to in order to plan this out. She appears to have a much smaller digital profile than her SO. Noticeably so.

There’s something bugging me about all of this that I just can’t put my finger on at the moment. It’s there on the tip of my brain just out of reach.

Hmmmm. Would there be any reason that we can think of for her and her girlfriend to stage her disappearance? What could be a motive for that?
