Also, she was last seen over 10 days ago and we are just now hearing about it. Why the delays in missing persons cases???

If you search Facebook for the little girl's name (Sophia Freeze) there are public posts from her dad and aunt (dad's sister) that give more detail on the situation.

Indeed. Had it been the other way around where she had custody and the father had taken her you can bet your last dollar that law enforcement would be all over it. But, for whatever reason, when it is this kind of situation law enforcement does little to nothing.
