Missing Person Case (namus.gov) Maybe this is her. Name of Damaris from Dallas. She's 16 and the UID is 18-20 but tha'ts not a huge difference. She ran away on June 11, 2021.

It's possible I guess, but I'm thinking this UID was probably crossing the border from Mexico.

Yea and I doubt they will ever be solved unless her family is looking for her from over there.

That link doesn’t work for me. Any other way to look at that site?

I'm not sure but I found this. Is this this Jane Doe?

Damaris Manueles Lopez (18 years old), a super charismatic, noble, caring girl with her goal of fulfilling her American dream. She wanted to help her family in Honduras but unfortunately she lost her life trying to make her dream come true. And right now her parents are heartbroken in Honduras since they don't have the resources to repatriate her body and say goodbye to her in their country, Honduras. So we need your help and solidarity in these difficult times so that your parents have the opportunity to see you one last time.

It's a fundraiser so I can't put in the link.

The UID file in Namus is still up BTW. No picture so it's very hard to say this is the same girl.

HER BODY WAS FOUND IN A DECOMPOSITION STATE ON JUNE 29, 2021 IN THE DESERT OF TEXAS.

JEANS DRESS, YELLOW SHIRT AND BLACK SHOES
SHE HAD THE BIRTH CERTIFICATE WITH HER NAME IN ONE OF THE POCKETS.
NamUs # UP81903

Seems like they know their daughter is found in Texas. Perhaps not officially identified by the lack of identifiers from family and so still up in Namus.

I think it's her. RIP sweet girl, so sad you life ended so soon and under this circumstances. Condolences to her loved one. I hope her body can be brought to Honduras, so she can have a decent burial.

It sure looks like it. I'm assuming the switching of genders in the same sentence is a language barrier thing and not that she's trans.

No, when translated from Spanish to English the gender will switch from she to he. I see I missed a few (him) corrections when posting. Corrected it now.
