ITA on gong show, flop house

I have a question for moms and grandmas: I think DM is correct that toward the end of the video, brother Carter is looking for Cash by kicking the blankets. Then Carter leaves the room - and DM declares he goes looking for Cash, which isn't something they could know. Is it not more likely that Carter made his way to the bathroom to pee? The next stop for a 4 y/o should be a stop in the kitchen where a caregiver gives them something to drink or a piece of fruit? But no, the sun is up and shining in the windows, twin brother Cash is missing, and this little boy goes back to his bed, alone. Once a 4 y/o is awake, he is "up"?

I would have to say that it is very individual. Some four year olds are deep sleepers, some are light sleepers. It also depends on what time did they go to sleep, did they eat a lot before bed, did they sleep well through the night, did they wake up to use the bathroom, did they have any nightmares and so on.

Cash was the one who was asleep until he was taken. To me, he looks still half-asleep. That's a strange posture he was in, almost vertical; I think he didn't even have the wherewithal to react at that point.

I agree that Carter most likely went to urinate, but when he comes back he just stares at their shared bed. If he went to the bathroom then he knows that Cash isn't in the bathroom, or in the bed, or visible in the room, so he is puzzled as to where Cash might be.

That part is just unspeakable. It almost replicates what DB did....just standing near the bed, staring. DB trying to figure out how best to grab a boy, Carter trying to figure out why Cash isn't where he's supposed to be.

As to the video getting to the media---well, there is only one suspect announced right now, so we can't say anything except about DB. But if that video is family property, and someone sold it to the media, that is very, very unkosher.

I can confirm to you that the trainers looked like boots to me, too, in the color photos. And clothes looked light-colored, then dark. Glasses, then not glasses? Headband? But I thought it might just be something about the different cameras?

Yes, it was my theory but I got the idea from @katydid23.

All those interior cameras didn’t provide much protection for Cash.

Okay, you have to watch the video. This 18 year old boy hesitates for at least 2 minutes before grabbing Cash, he is really hesitating for awhile. He grabs the boy who was already asleep, not the one who returned to the bed at the beginning of the video. It appears to me that the 18 year old is communicating with someone possibly via earbud..... not communicating but listening to someone maybe. I am not sure. The way he hesitates is very revealing and it shows (to me) that this was someone else's idea and he was sent to do the job of snatching Cash.

Now, even more telling is when the 18 year old returns after daybreak. He is talking to someone - someone is there - someone who knows there is only one boy in the bed. (it's a toddler bed not a crib by the way). He at first says " he is sound asleep " then other things which I haven't interpreted yet. So there you have it. More than one person involved. This explains why nobody did anything to stop it.

Add that to the fact that dad's ex-girlfriend knew these boys had a mother; and mother says boys were missing since March. It adds up. Look at the video. You have to in order to understand. I will watch again and analyze to see what else he might have said. To me he is clearly talking to someone else.

Also, most painful part is when the twin comes back into the room and looks at the empty toddler bed. It's as if his heart knows, but his little 4 year old mind cannot comprehend, nor speak what his heart knows.

Is he hestitating or just spending time watching the boys? I don't think he's on a phone or communication device. I think he just has his hand up while watching the boys. I think it's just a gesture, not a phone.

I think he moved the blanket to see more and then when he realized he could actually take the boy, he did.

Makes me wonder if he has watched them before.

Will the release of that video be detrimental to future court proceedings? I feel badly that the privacy of the sibling(Carter) was compromised in this way.

Maybe a disguise of sorts for moving Cash to the woods? No one would think twice about a mask these days.

Questions I have where are the bloody clothes?

If he took Cash to the nature area and harmed him why would he bring him back?

There 2 different sets of clothes on what’s supposedly DB (I’m not convinced). Where did he get the new clothes from?

That's assuming the interior security cameras were there for the children's protection ?

Remember IR - infrared - cameras make dark colored clothes appear light/white in the dark.
Notice little Carter’s shorts look light colored as he climbs into bed.
Look again in the morning when there’s light and they look dark.
I do think perp has removed the hoodie he was wearing but not sure he’s completely changed his clothes.
