Found Deceased TX - Cedric Jackson, 18 months, Dallas, 9 July 2019 *Arrests*

When will this end? I’m so tired of seeing children being murdered, left in cars, and tortured! They don’t deserve any of this! The man arrested had plenty questionable charges over the years that should’ve kept the aunt from getting any kind of custody. Now...if she didn’t tell cps he was staying in the home, why didn’t other family/friends step up and and say there was another person there and around the kids? My heart just hurts so much from this. Hopefully my post is within terms...
There's just still so much we don't know or don't understand: How deeply, if at all, did CPS get involved in this placement from Mom's house to Aunt's house? Did a county official know that the boyfriend was living with the aunt, and did an official know how many people were already living there? Was the situation at Mom's house so dire that the placement had to be made immediately and the aunt offered to take little Cedric?
So many chips were stacked against that little guy -- he's away from it now and he will never hurt or be afraid again.
And this,

Welcome to Websleuths,

Utterly ridiculous since he's admitted it. What is with these women???
Apparently they can't make it without a man around, and apparently they think that if they don't do things "his way," he will leave. As for the worrisome child, apparently they think it's easier to let that little one go, and get pregnant again and have another child -- and, bonus-bonus, the boyfriend is still there. Apparently they think the boyfriend is the most important one in the family.

From the article you linked:

<snipped by me>"Johnson told detectives the boy started making noise at 12:30 a.m. When he unwrapped the toddler from his swaddle, Cedric started throwing up, court records show.

The man said he performed CPR for at least 30 minutes but Cedric did not wake up. Johnson told police he then took the boy's body to a dumpster in northeast Dallas, where he left the child, the warrant says.

The warrant alleges Johnson injured Cedric "by compressing his airways."<snipped by me>

-----------------------------
C going from "throwing up" to needing CPR is a major change in his health status, IMO, and raises many questions. Wonder if LE has asked him to demonstrate/explain exactly how he determined C needed CPR and how he administered it.
bbm
IANAD, but seems to me, if someone is "throwing up," he is also breathing. I do know if a baby is crying, he is breathing, so I would think vomiting would be the same. Dunno.
CPR for 30 minutes -- what a hero. This child had already had his little chest compressed too damm many times, IMO.

Moo--- I think the "30 minutes of CPR" is a big fat lie.
Obviously you don't go from trying to save a life to throwing that life into a dumpster.

Sounds about right. Thanks.

The "Sardines Suites," for 8 -- 9 people. SMH.
They do have 2 bedrooms at Twins Creek but that is still uncomfortable.Four children in one room,2 on the couch and both adults with Cedric in another. This is just a guess.

Yes, ITA -- I think the 30 minute biznezz is a hopeful excuse from him for the "swaddling" damage he did to little Cedric.

And according to the arrest warrant the aunt told LE that only she, the juvenile witness and Cedric were in the apartment when the boogeyman er, I mean "strange man" came in and took him. I don't know if that's enough to arrest the aunt though. Hopefully, if LE can show evidence she was awake and aware of what was going on then they might be able to get her on something serious.

It's beyond my understanding that anyone can not only do what SJ did to Cedric but also bold-face lie to LE. They both deserve to be removed from society and kept away from children for a very, very long time. MOO.

With a heart beat at that

Exactly. If there's a heartbeat (where on C's body did he check that?), then CPR isn't indicated. If there's crying(especially with vocalization/sound) chances are there's enough air movement and supplementation isn't needed. If the situation had deteriorated to the point of CPR being needed (I'm still not sure about that), why in the world was EMS not called? His whole account is questionable, that's why I hope LE had him demonstrate exactly what he did and how he administered CPR, it could help prove that his account is bogus.

The article doesn't say those things. Are they your guesses?

Sorry for the delayed response. I'm wondering if maybe you had read the article before my post and not refreshed? Or, you may not have scrolled down far enough. It's a pretty long article. Below are direct quotes from the article:

"While police said she initially told them she didn't notice Cedric was missing until the next morning, a search warrant for Johnson's cellphone states Jackson woke up in the middle of the night and noticed both her boyfriend and the toddler were gone.
The aunt called Johnson to confront him about his and Cedric's whereabouts, according to the document."
---
"Johnson has been arrested several times before, including for a pending misdemeanor family violence case.
In that case, Johnson is accused of biting his wife during an argument, court records show.
Johnson pleaded guilty to a 2010 felony charge of abandoning a child with the intent to return."

Yes. My apologies. I didn't realize at first that the same article kept updating.

Yes and sweet Noah who also searched for in a landfill and found in a steam plant just last week. RIP sweet babies.

Which Noah? SMH that I really just had to ask that due to multiple missing/murdered Noah's. Sad.

No date on the court site yet for Johnson. And Chrystal is 26 - according to the affividat above. She is not in the court system.

I sure hope there is a lot going on behind the scenes, because it's been silence. I hope little Cedric gets full justice.

Yes, I keep wondering what's up.

Which raises another question...why are his children from prior relationship still in his custody in the first place? One of those is the 4mo. He left alone and yet she still resides with him?

I'm thinking it was not legal.

I also think an answer to the question of what was going on at his parents home is maybe they had no home or there were substance abuse issues.

Agree -- Also, re Johnson and his children -- maybe the mom of his children is in a worse situation (possible?) than he was. Jail, hospital, disappeared, etc.
