So many very bad words want to come out... I will behave but I am getting super worried. I feel like I need some blood pressure meds at this point. IF EA gets an acquittal or mistrial or whatever, they could still go after him for a murder charge anyone know? Or would that be considered Double Jeopardy still?

I'm not buying it. Wasn't there enough to to suggest she could not have survived it? Or is that no longer true? I'm getting confused. And if the DNA in the trunk isn't blood...what is it?

JMHO I dont think would be double jeopardy because different charges (agg kidnapping) and whatever charge for a deceased there are various depending on stuff.

That may be why they didn't go for murder, so they had an extra chance if these charges don't stick.

Don't quote me on this but I think he can be tried for something else just not aggravated kidnapping. So if they find her body with some kind of evidence that links them (which sadly becomes less likely with each passing day) then he can be tried for murder.

I live on Grapevine Lake. It's about 20-30 minutes west. I think the body is unrelated. Still scary, though.

Yes, they can go after him for murder.

JMHO :thinking: IF he is found guilty and depending on the sentence (not sure if auto appeal or how that works) That would hold him. They may not even try him for murder (if came to that) because of length of time and $$. Maybe they thought since been so long since and not found her. What was he orig arrested for? the or the agg kidnapping? or what
