This is a great point as all we know about the trial is coming in the form of 140 character tweets. Make that 128 characters to allow for #arochitrial. We don't know everything the jury is hearing. TCMOM's notes from yesterday provided a lot more detail than the tweets, which proves we are not privy to a lot of information that could be very relevant. The texts from CM to HF that she detailed gave me a lot of pause because I have been that girl and I can see very well why she might get in car with EA in the mindset she was being blown off/dumped.

Point being is we can't see ourselves as jurors based on the info we are given.

As for guilt, the fact that a handful of people testified that they saw him with no injuries at 3 am and a handful of people testified that they saw him with injuries at 11 am is pretty darn damning. That plus the Kroger video plus the fact he was the last person she was seen with would be more than enough for me at this point.

Very well said. I wanted to say the same thing, but I am having trouble posting. We are not privy to everything being said and we have found a couple of the tweeters are not always accurate with the testimony. Also, we are not seeing the evidence.

Witchcraft,' magic spells, oily liquid become focal point at Christina Morris trial
Valerie Wigglesworth

An olive jar and its contents suggesting a magic spell were the focal point Wednesday in the Christina Morris kidnapping trial.

Prosecutors were in their fifth day of presenting evidence in the case against the man accused in Morris' disappearance. Enrique Arochi, 26, is charged with aggravated kidnapping.

A Plano crime scene investigator testified about evidence collected from Arochi's Allen home after his arrest in December 2014. Jurors saw photographs of the jar containing a dark-colored liquid and learned that it had been found inside a shoe in Arochi's bedroom. Prosecutors asked that the jar — kept in an evidence bag that noted which direction was up — be admitted as evidence.

Defense attorneys asked that investigator Michelle Boubel open the jar in court. But before she could get her evidence gloves on, the defense requested to be heard. Jurors were sent out of the courtroom.

Prosecutor: Also want to show how damage to right front damage is hip height to someone Morris' size #arochitrial

**so this small lady made a dent with her hips or body but someones fist couldn't? Now I would like to see a pic of the damage

Snipped for brevity.

This is not hard for me to believe. Force= mass x acceleration. A moving vehicle hitting a person would cause much more damage than a person punching a car.

Here is a cool interactive timeline thing. I had also forgotten that the toll tags show him driving up the parkway but then he ends up back around legacy shops later

https://s3.amazonaws.com/uploads.kn...aa6aa2f1b6336d70563fe841b/timeline/index.html

Thank you so much for that map, for a non local it's really helpful to see how everything fits together.

I had forgotten about the charge of stealing a phone from the Sprint store, I wonder if that's going to be mentioned at all

I don't even see how that is possible because haven't they already stated that it wasn't blood? So is it vomit? Urine? I don't get it. Neither one of those would mean she couldn't have survived.

I really don't know what is the truth anymore. We have read and been told so many different things.

I was thinking maybe urine too but you're right there's no quantity of that which would mean you could tell a person was deceased IMO

Lol. We lived in Charleston when we bought our first home and the ceilings were haint blue....

We repainted most every room in the house but left those ceilings as they were...<3

Every day's a school day here on WS, I've never heard of haint blue, after googling I now feel like an expert

If LE would have just gone one step further, and brought in an expert. I don't like to complain about LE, but I'm certain they can determine what EA was hoping to achieve with his bottle without looking too far for the answer.

I lived in downtown Houston for 9 years, and nearby is an area on Canal Street and other streets with shops that sell certain herbs and ingredients. They also give advice on how to use them effectively, for those who are worthy of having this knowledge.

If you go, for best results:
-- Bring a bi-lingual friend from Mexico, preferably a believer
-- Plan to at least buy a candle or other item to receive the best customer service and thorough answers to your questions

I don't believe what EA was hoping to achieve is as important as what it represented. I feel if the jury were to see the contents of the jar with the letters that spell out names of people out with them that night it would be one piece of circumstantial evidence that would raise the question of why? I agree with the judges decision. The prosecution can't say how that fits in with the case. I would think the prosecution would know that what they had would not be allowed, but they tried anyway. I think it was a case of we have evidence, but this is an added bonus. If they could have presented the olive jar as a dominance spell and the paper inside spelled out the names of potential witnesses.

As someone said earlier, we have not seen the most damning evidence yet. They have to build the foundation to support the big evidence. I have been following cases since OJ and there is a method to the prosecutions case and the defense tactics are always very similar. I just hate it that jurors sometimes can't see the forest for the trees.

But this is exactly why he's not on trial for murder. They've stated they don't have the evidence for that.

Even so, the detective stated that as an investigator, and taking the evidence as a whole (Christina never coming home, Amount of DNA found in shady person's trunk, etc) she believes that Christina was killed. It's really not that far of a jump in logic.

Besides, we haven't even heard the DNA evidence.

Last comment then :offtobed:

This whole looking at the Camero makes me think back to that confusing witness.... Yes he saw damage .... no he didn't see damage.... then was unsure.

So the State def wanted no damage JMHO

Sleep well. See you on the sunrise side!

I get what you are saying. We are only hearing choppy tweets an TCMOM helped us to see we are missing most of the testimony and the media who are tweeting don't seemto understand what is important. And they don't always get the testimony straight. Leaving off the 't from can will change the whole meaning. Because of the mannor in which we are able to follow this case, I could not claim to be a juror or think that I have all the information a juror has seen and heard. I am interested in knowing what the testimony and evidence is that we have not heard and to see if what we have heard is the truth. Unfortunately, I can't even say for sure I know everything that has been brought up. A big part of any trial is the visual evidence and we don't have that at all.

at this point, if I were a juror, I would have to vote not guilty.

ETA: This was in answer to Mimi's post about who told the Judge about Talamontes.

Not sure, but it was clearly (in the courtroom) the State who alerted the judge to the grand juror issue on Tuesday. I also know they (the State) are keeping a very close eye on the media and media/twitter to make sure nothing shady is happening. I'm sure they saw him on the fox4 interview and told the Judge. The rest of that was pulled out by the judge in the courtroom yesterday.

The State doesn't want this case overturned on appeal for any reason, they're being very careful.

I wasnt sure how they heard but figured the GJ Juror told someone. Glad that the State is one who told. Haven't had chance to go back and review what Ponce testimony was (that day you and Gigglingtoes was there correct? Hindsight is 20/20 wish someone had seen them arrive together before Ponce testified. Rereading tweets made me think of kids..
Jobin I didnt do it, LP the judge needs to remember to tell RADIO < he capitalized lol and then iirc Jobin is who busted out the news station that reporter was from. Cut throat industry as any lol
