I haven't seen them search. Mostly strangers really.
There's something very odd about this case.
I figured my posts would vanish. Not sure why
This seems to be an epic conspiracy.

That, in itself, is odd.
Were the friends searching a month ago?

So I thought LE stated that CM and her friends went to Henry's then went to get something to eat after that and before going to the apt. But I don't recall ever hearing WHERE they went. Did they ever say? Or is that just one more bit of info they are holding close to their chests? OR was it just rumor?? I cant seem to find the report in msm, but we know a lot has been amended and of gone *poof!*

Updated information

A. All surveillance cameras in The Shops at Legacy parking lot were working Aug. 30.
B. Surveillance footage has been sent off for enhancement.
C. Christina’s iPhone 5 has a metallic blue case with a black teddy bear sticker on the back made from
skateboard grip, according to her mother, Jonni McElroy, in a Facebook post.
D. Plano PD has been in touch with the FBI; case has not reached the level of their jurisdiction yet.
E. FBI is not officially working the case, but is involved.
F. PD believes Christina was last seen wearing black shorts, flip flops and a light-colored t-shirt.
G. Friends and those with Christina the night she went missing are being treated as witnesses by Plano PD.
H. More than 200 tips have been received; all are being investigated.

IMHO

If it's not, then, why would LE release the footage?
The family has stated that it is on FB and discussed her clothing. IMO

But who else are you thinking it would be?
I would think her mom would recognize it to be her. If not then all the searching around the shops would seem like a total waste of time. Also I believe LE said they do have video showing her and the me who was seen walking with her in the garage to have walked all the way to the garage nonstop. In all that video I would guess some is from the front and they could tell it was indeed her.

First, I don't believe for a minute that you are starting not to care! You have put in so much time and effort and are emotionally invested. I understand that you are disgusted and I get it. But you and the other searchers are amazing!

No. I wouldn't search if PPD asked or the family.
I'm almost waiting for that to happen. Then I'll know things are really off

I guess I missed something. What is the recent events on fb last night?

Yes, her friends were searching with TES. I wasn't aware of who all was there and how close they were, but there were definitely friends and young adults from "around town" who had some connection with her (sister knew her in HS, etc). I was searching with TES and I'm a complete stranger to all parties involved in the case. I would love to go out again soon, but I've got a very busy week ahead with family commitments. If she's not found by next weekend, I will try to go out if searches are still ongoing. I hope it's all over with by then, but I'm not having much faith.

I think it will all happen in due time. The last thing we want is the (s) responsible to walk because of some technicality or some piece missing. We want an arrest, trial, and conviction. Not a mistrial or something.

True. But we want her found too.
I think if they don't find her they'll be hard pressed

Again, I would not have a clue as to where to search. Jmo, she went away in a car, a car that could have gone in any direction, any distance. And we do not know exactly what and where has been searched for sure.

Not feeling any great conspiracy here, or anything "big" other than maybe a sadly not uncommon domestic case, or possibly a random predator. If LE has a suspect, not surprised at all if they keep quiet. Family isn't likely to even know. And if they do not have a scenario, they might have nothing to say. Some LE agencies don't say much unless they have news that requires help from public, or they make an arrest. They don't announce suspects as much as they used to. I wish LE was more vocal in all MP cases, but most aren't. They retreat into automatic LE mode and go silent. Doesn't mean a cover-up, just inexperience or bad policies. Worry too much about supposed evidence for court, instead of worrying about finding the person first and then building their case. Lots of LE does this.

Yup. Completely agree. It makes no sense.
Most don't even mention it. They have moved on it seems. Just odd.

That is usually the case. LE don't want anyone playing detective. They just want you searching for clues. Clothing. Jewelry. Phone, etc.
