What's the reasoning behind making the searches private? Not questioning LE tactics just wondering the thought behind doing it that way.

That would be a Search Coordinator/LE type question

Here's a tiny snippet of my pre-event questions:

What was the timeline of events that we know of so far, and how did it correspond to the wardrobe changes?

What were all the clothes and items presented in the media?

How, when, and why were these descriptions altered?

Where were the not-in-current use clothes stored that evening?

Where, when, and why did the wardrobe changes take place?

What potential sources might have footage of the evening's events?

I have a timeline as well as clothing list that I've posted before. I can pull them up tomorrow for you. Right now it's time to hit the hay!

The main thing that sticks out is that in the past, and has occured with tes, there have been cases where the person has moved the body once he knew an area was cleared by searchers to that location. Also it can alert potentially bad guys to where and when he should start looking at taking a long vacation. Those aren't all of the reasons but some big ones

  • #205
There are more reasons but I don't want to really go into too many details just in case the bad guys are reading this and get an idea

I get stuck between thinking a) Christina went off the grid because she was upset that her bf (HF) started messing with someone else. 2) somebody TOOK her off the grid because she started messing with someone else. 3) someone wanted to help her "get"off the grid because a) they didn't want her to be so influential to their family (or draw attention)
b) they wanted to see if they could do it.
My "c)" in this scenario is that Christina was just hanging, being a 23yo wanting to be with friends. Some she knew well, some she didn't. She went out to have fun. She did.
I get stuck with what happened next. (Oh wait, that's the whole problem, huh?)

Ben Miller Report

IMHO .. I do not feel any sincerity in his tone at all.
I agree. Not only his tone, but his words. He is struggling alright and says he is not stable in any way (I believe him). It is all about him yada yada. Then he mentions he not only wants her back, but he emphasizes "alive". Interesting. He acts as if he is in mourning, imo. Her mother doesn't and she is the one with every right to be.

In my own opinion, I think the opposite. I believe he is showing textbook traits of guilt that is caused by inaction. As if he is a wreck mentally because he didn't answer her calls or respond to her texts. The same traits can be similar to somebody who didn't run back into a burning building to save somebody, didn't look before pulling out in front of a motorcycle, etc.

Praying for Christina- she's more important than anything and we all have valid opinions. Someone there that night knows something and they need to speak up. I am praying LE have something and they are playing it out as if they don't so someone will slip and think they're in the clear and make a mistake because we need that or for someone to be honest and do what the mass majority would do and speak up already. Not just EA but anyone who knows or saw anything or has a clue including all who were there that night.

Yes. He did mention guilt. However, I have seen a few guilty parties do the same during interviews and sob because they knew the victim was not coming back. They can make quite a show of it.

This guy should feel guilty for not calling someone for 4 days! And we do not know if he answered her texts/calls or not...do we?

Well we do not know if he responded and we don't know their relationship status at that point. I have ignored texts/calls from a girl for a few days as well when I have broke up with somebody.
I will add, I left that person and had moved on in that instance. Could be his reasoning as well. don't know though

Hi, all!
Found this morning’s story interesting…wonder if it could be related?
Location is about 12 miles from parking lot CM was last seen.

Man wanted for attacking woman in Lewisville
LEWISVILLE, Texas -
Lewisville police are looking to arrest a man who attacked a woman earlier this month.
Police said he dragged her under a bridge as she was walking home near Business Highway 121 and Valley View Lane.
Investigators think the man could be linked to other attacks and released a sketch.
He is described as being 20 to 30 years old with a muscular build.
Police said the woman yelled for help as she was being dragged and the man ran away.
She had minor injuries.

Just me, but I don't think this was a random person or serial attacker. I think it's someone she knows.

Offering up vehicle for searching and forensic testing, providing clothing worn that night for inspection, offering access to cell phone data would be a good start.

What if they (LE) saw Enrique (on video) walk in with Christina and get in his car and drive off.
I do think if they thought he was responsible they would have seized his car his cell searched his home.
All they need is a warrant. AFAWK they have not.
So IMO hes not the one they are after.
but I do think they feel he might know something. Maybe something she told him or spoke about while they were walking.
I just do not think hes the one!

All of them are possible as to what could have happened to that beautiful girl. I'm not really sure who I think is responsible and why at this point. It's been so full of twist and turns, its hard to navigate through all of it. I do feel like she would not have ran off this long. She would need some outside help. I would hope she would have turned up by now, or the person or persons that helped her along.

I saw the news about the guy from Lewisville and because I'm fairly certain this was not a random abduction I dismissed it but it's always possible IF walker hadn't changed story I would still be considering random could be the case.

  • #217
If we take LE's statement about cooperation at face value, a search would have been conducted without a warrant needing to be issued. Maybe some of our answers are within the lack of info?

Could the text to leave the door open be a signal of some kind?

  • #219
I would like to know what you guys think happened to Christina. I see a lot of you are leaning towards Ea... But, I'm sure everyone has their own idea as to who, what, when, & why???

Well JMO
first of all why would she sleep there if she had to be at work It was almost 4 am.
I don't believe the go home to get her dog story I think that was just an excuse to leave.
the numerous calls to HF the cant find my keys leave the door open....
Maybe someone was after HF and to get to him they go thru her?

I think the problems are back at home....
He was off the grid non communicato with her ...
I also think there is another phone....

My thoughts on possible reasons for the clothing changes. She arrived in her outfit to go out with her friends. After going to the apartment or when she went out to the drive thru for food, knowing she was spending the night, she changed into comfortable sleeping clothes. Then she decides she needs to go home and get her dog, but also know she has to be at work, she borrows some clothes that are work appropriate. In one of the MSM articles (IIRC), her mom made a statement about her staying at the apartment and she said I think she planned on staying over, she had already changed her clothes (I am paraphasing). I think since she changed so many times that her friends saw her in different outfits at different times. I know if someone asked me what my friend wore 4 days before, I could not tell them accurately.
