"I am actually heartbroken that there is promotion of disruption in an innocent neighborhood as well as his family."

Nobody is promoting disruption of an innocent neighborhood or family.

Oh, quit picking on TYM.

I'm sure its unsettling to the neighbors to have this going on in their neighborhoods, not knowing if one of their neighbors is... well... who knows really.... So to the neighbors, the picketers are promoting a disruption. That's just how I'm understanding it.

I wouldn't think that him talking to the police would necessarily serve him at all. Let that happen through the lawyer unless they name him as a suspect or POI.

With the parents, he could satisfy their needs, demonstrate that he is human, show compassion and probably salvage his childhood friendships. He could set the meeting up to suit his needs. He could request 1) not recorded, 2) one at a time, 3)choose location, 4) have his own witness, 5)choose not to answer questions that are not specific to Christina's disappearance, etc. A human would do this out of compassion. Of course, an individual WOULDNT do it if he was involved.

Opposite with me. At this point I would only sit down with LE.

Every action has a reaction. His actions has brought signs to his front door. IMO, I believe had he handled things differently none of this would of happened. His father didn't help matters with his tweet saying he needed to discuss a delicate matter. Its been linked in past I do not know if I have to put it again

I agree. If he would have spoken to them or been involved with the searches, I believe they would not be in front of his house with signs. I don't think any of us that feel this way are saying that we feel the others with her that night are in the clear. Just saying they have spoken to the family. We do not know if they were truthful, but they did speak & have been more active in her case. We all have our opinions on this forum. I guess my opinion leans more towards what I would do if this was my daughter.

I get that, I do. I also look at it as what I do if this was my son.

Sorry to hear the MISSING flyers are no longer around.

The MISSING flyers are still all over the parking garage where she went missing. I was there for lunch yesterday. I still see them in a lot of places.

Alright you guys - knock it off. EA is not a suspect, according to LE at this point. You can discuss what is in MSM and you can discuss what the family says. That's the extent of it. Stop pushing and pulling at each other. This is one of those cases where we are going to have to wait for something to break.

:) thank you Salem for keeping everything tight. For everyone else... Thank you for your opinions and thoughts, I find it fascinating. We're all trying to get to the same place, just different opinions on how to get there. Find Christina!

What would you do if you child was missing?

Where did we leave off on thread summary signups? I have to go out on assignment tomorrow, but hopefully I'll have a bit of time Friday. Should I sign up for a "later" thread? Eight?

I'll analyze thread 8 and report back.

So far, emerging organizational categories include:
-reflections on previous events
-questions and musings
-theories and hypothesis
-controversial issues
-facts

And a friendly reminder-- which Mod loved to say it? "The ignore feature is your friend." Don't forget your toolkit, cats and kittens. Plenty of ways to configure your settings and alleviate stress. :)

When comments have been removed or redacted via mod action, does it affect the numbering? (Therefore, would it be a waste of time to cite by comment number?)

How are you so sure that EA told LE everything he knows to be true and accurate. It was reported that he lied to the police about his walking Christina in the garage. So,why if he lied to the LE,do you think he is being so honest? Do you have personal relations with him?

Just my opinion,btw.

they have esp I guess... jmo though, no link to confirm their powers

No one stated they KNOW what walking guy did or did not tell the police.
A few pages back, I suggested that if more than one person is involved, and walking guy knows or thinks he knows more to the story, he may not want the world to know what he told LE. Common among young people (and is survival for gang members/Hell's Angels, certain peer groups, drug dealer rings, etc.) is avoiding being the nark when LE comes around. Therefore, if drugs or a plan was involved or even if someone knows more about Christina and HF's fight/situation, and a person told LE details about what they know, why would anyone tell that they did?
This is one reason, other than being the perpetrator, that might explain when someone close to a case remains silent.

If anybody has the answer and is certain they know what happened to Christina, remember many of us aren't inside iykwim. At this stage, all info discussed are possibilities.

I just want to point out that this article is from: Posted: Thursday, September 4, 2014 4:20 pm | Updated: 12:48 pm, Thu Sep 11, 2014.

Things change over time. Members may rely on newer and more updated information.

Information from where though? Suspect info would have to come from LE, right?
LE hasn't made any specific new statements. LE did refer to a situation in Christina's past though which sounded like a hint stemming back to her purse being stolen or possibly the conversation on CM's fb about "karma".
LE seemed to indicate the investigation is broader than just the events of August 30.

Adding link, September 22 article where Officer Tilley comments,
"We're talking to anyone who might have any information at all of something even in the past," Tilley explained.

I'm pretty sure the posts adjust/correct numbers. If a mod deletes, maybe they have to do the adjustments because too much time elapsed - not sure. But within a short period of time, if I delete a double post myself, I've noticed the numbers adjust themselves. Not sure how the computer knows to fix the numbers though. Once a certain amount of times goes by, only a Mod can delete posts. We can only delete our own posts within a short, limited period of time.

Where is MSM does it state their attorney already told them not to speak about it?

Bless You Your Heart... I did not forget about your question....most all the links are already in the threads... I just like to use them probably more than the average old lady..

http://cw33.com/2014/10/20/mystery-man-christina-morris-parents-demand-answers-from-friend/

The mystery man walking with the missing woman in the surveillance video at the Shops of Legacy in Plano is identified as a high school friend.

Christina Morris’ parents think he knows something.

“I went to his house to talk to him, and he told me his lawyer wouldn’t let him say anything,” Christina’s father Mark Morris said.

So family and friends parked outside his house with signs, demanding that he talk to them.

Yes, you did. Thank you. This is in answer to your subsequent question to me: how do you envision that something of this nature will be staying as a 100% guaranteed "Peaceful Picket"?
My answer to your question was: Well, I don't. It would depend on how confrontational the parents group is and how confrontational the neighbors are. You seem to think the act of protesting is in itself confrontational.....I don't. I think saying IF it becomes non-peaceful would be less prejudicial and inflammatory than WHEN it becomes non-peaceful. WHEN is too Fox news-ish to me. MOO

My O/T question about the entire post was "What is Fox News-ish" ??? I am not familiar with that.

Piggybacking off of this, as frustrating as it can be when news reports are revised and edited, I think the overall damage/impact would be worse if inaccurate or incomplete information were left as-is in MSM. Lose-lose :(

I like it when they edit by either adding an update, or at least putting a paragraph at the end of the story explaining what was changed and what the earlier version had said.
