Oh ok cause when you go on there now it says this: "To see posts on Christina's timeline, send her a friend request" So I thought that meant it was private and I didn't think we could discuss FB accounts or comments on private pages? Not great at this so I just thought that those were the rules. Since we also can't discuss the private "Find Christina" page.

No. They have not. Christina's FB is allowed.

Some posts were removed. The post I am referring to is there.

If you scroll down to the bottom of her page and click "show older stories" you will see the posts.

CM's stepfather works for American Airlines, I believe. That could be their fly free connection.

That appears to be the case. Thanks.

Removed it. Was from blog.

It doesn't come up private for me? As long as I or the other mods can view the page, it is allowed. If that changes, then the rule will change also because you are right - if it is private, it can't be discussed here.

Thanks, Salem.
I am not friends with CM and I can see it, so, it is not private.

I agree, I was simply pointing out that the relationship that LE has with communities and young people in particular has changed IMO. It is more highly assumed that LE is trying to get in your pocketbook, not necessarily trying to make communities safer or solving crimes that don't result in paydays for local government. IMO, much more apprehension and animosity toward cops and that is reflected in clothing by counter-culture groups.

****just adding that I love having your perspective here!!!!

But kind of a flip side is the perspective of the positive side from my own observations
I have worked with LE & 1st Responder Organizations in the past ..as well as others I have mentioned ...all of the Community Involvement that goes on behind the scenes .. It is incredible to see the kids crying of joy because they got a coat or a bike , or even got to sit up in the front seat of a Fire Truck. Or when the named organization members are acting as a mentor for someone that needs help.
I know nobody likes to see the red and blue disco lights .. it is always an emergency when that happens and so on..

Maybe the family has viewed the tapes with LE and know that EA and CM didn't part ways at the sidewalk? Just a thought and of course just MO.

I think then he would be in custody!

Re CM's facebook page if you're on a PC as I am you just need to click on the date list on the right hand side and you can see that all the posts are still there. They just don't come up straight away because facebook doesn't class them as recent.

If you're viewing from a phone it might not be quite so easy to see them depending on the app you're using which I think would make it look like they've been deleted

I've been thinking about some of the posts about people having 4 days to get their stories straight or think of alibis.

The thing is that this wouldn't have been what happened, no one would have had any idea how long it would be before someone realised that CM was missing.

In fact they would probably assume that they had no time at all to make anything up and the person or persons involved would probably have spent every minute of those days thinking that someone would report her missing. I bet whoever's responsible couldn't believe that it went unnoticed for so long.

I think all the friends should be thinking about who acted out of character during those days or was unavailable or distracted

Maybe....maybe not? Who knows at this point. IMO LE probably knows way more than they are letting on. Just waiting on a slip up. All just my opinion. And being raised by a cop, I know they have their ways.......

I think then he would be in custody!

Cops of today don't get a lot of respect. Obviously, some good ones out there, but too many are looked as legal Bandito's, glorified cashiers and bullies that you can't beat because of the badge, just saw a clip this morning of a guy who was shot because he went back into his car to get a drivers license that the cop had just requested.

I think we have to remember that every decade had a style of clothing that implied some disrespect/rebellion to authority. Some people in that age group are still experimenting with style & trying to find themselves. Do people judge, yes. Does it always mean the person dressed like that believes in what they are promoting, no.

But using an armed robber (implied by the ski mask and gun) as a way to sell a shirt that is designed to disrespect LE is more than keeping up with the "norm" and crosses the line, imo. It invites another group of dangerous people into their lives. Add them now to the pool of possibilities.

I have to agree with this. CM's friends/BF have had me scratching my head from the beginning and this only reinforces my thinking that there were some really bad things going on/around CM. I'm not talking about just a tshirt - I'm talking about a mindset. JMO

OT, but ME has confirmed remains found last week were Hannah Graham.

Poor Hannah......I am so sad about this. I was hoping they would find her ok. She went missing not long after Christina.

I agree CrystalAnn - It seems to me from reading on here that the victim and her family are getting nothing but flack. THEY ARE THE VICTIMS HERE. IMO The victims are not the neighborhood, not EA, not HIS family, not her ex's or her current BF, but Christina! Christina and her family did not ask for this. IMO Christina would NEVER leave on her own and not contact her family. We are coming up on 2 months that she has been missing. SOMEONE KNOWS SOMETHING!! IMO.....Whoever that someone is needs to tell what they know. I am not talking about the walker or anyone in particular but someone, probably a few someone's know something they have withheld or just conveniently forgot to mention, that could bring Christina home. To me this is disgusting. Disgusting, that a person could be so self absorbed, that they would worry about themselves before a person who is missing and her family.

[modsnip] What about being heartbroken for Christina's Mother, her Father, her Step-Mother and Father, her siblings, her TRUE friends? [modsnip] First of all, correct me if I'm wrong but I have never heard of anyone being attacked with poster-board or of a poster-board assault. I was there and no one had sticks, we had signs that yes were on wooden bases but no one was carrying sticks. We barely even speak. It is quiet, peaceful, and for her family it is what they think is necessary. Who can fault them for how they choose to act? Not me, I don't have a missing child, I pray I never have to experience anything like this ever in my life. But I do know this, JM is HEARTBROKEN, more than anyone on here could probably imagine, they are all HEARTBROKEN. [modsnip]. Remember they are the victims here. Ok I'm done!

I agree wholeheartedly that anyone who knows anything needs to talk. I do not see that happening though because IMO there were some questionable activities surrounding the night CM disappeared. For the friends to talk might implicate them in some nefarious activities. I believe everyone associated is in some type of survival mode.

Additionally, Just because I or anyone else do not believe in the protests does not mean we do not care about Christina's well-being. Those two do not go hand in hand. The family does not have to please me or anyone else, but in the same token, people are entitled to how they feel about it. JMO

I agree we all have the right to our own opinion about the situation. I was not trying to state that people should not state their opinions. However when certain rules are supposed to be followed and some do that.....others do not. I have not seen anywhere in MSM that there was illegal or nefarious activities going on. If that is the case, I have just not read or seen that.

I am sure that most are concerned for Christina's well being. I also believe from reading every thread and every comment that some may wish that she is never found. Not you, and not naming names, that is just what I have observed on this page. When I joined this page I believed it was a victim friendly page and IMO that is not what I have experienced.

I think it comes off that way sometimes because a lot of the sleuthers have been around these boards a long time and are cynical. I totally see your point.

Personally, If I had the time, money and resources I would move mountains to find Christina and get answers for her family. Unfortunately (for this situation) , I'm a single mom of two young kids and a small bank account and not a lot of resources so I have to contribute where I can by praying and a couple of the searches in the beginning.

I think for the most part WS is very victim-friendly. But in this case there is so little factual information, sometimes imaginations run wild. So frustrating on all accounts.
