The boyfriend just acts more guilty in that video. I don't see any remorse from him either. 4 days! 4 days! ? There's something about him that makes me uneasy. I don't even think he has a job. And, he drove to Oklahoma the week after she went missing. How does that happen?

Maybe I need to go back and watch them again. If he didn't know CM well, he couldn't be crying about it. I thought he looked like a guy that was overwhelmed that all this was happening to him. Maybe he didn't "ask" her if he could walk her to her car; maybe out of everyone in the group, he just happened to be going home and was parked there, too. I don't know anybody, either, or have a dog in this fight - just observing and really want this resolved for the family. She seemed like a precious girl. It could be stranger danger and we are only looking at these 2 guys?? I always heard that if your pupils were big, it was because of fear (could be an old wives tale).

That's true, they wouldn't have to share with the public. I shouldn't assume he'd be arrested if they did find something, either. And if he did do anything to her, wouldn't it have had to be in the garage, since he had a toll pass 11 minutes later? I don't think he even knew they were on camera. ps..love your avatar!

I don't think he knew he was on camera either. I think he got a pretty thorough reaming from the police. They caught him on the toll 11 minutes later. I think he did exactly what he said went to his car and left.

Do you mean SA her and then kill her? I would think no because I'm sure he could have pulled over to the side of the road etc.

I am hearing violins playing here for EA. It is way too early to worry about his feelings. CM is missing and someone is responsible. Just because EA does a few interviews does not exonerate him.

I have not seen him charged with anything.

I think he said the word "my" at least 4 or 5 times.

I lost my job due to the investigation
LE took my car etc.

I think it was his Dad's idea and Dad drove him. Probably so they could have a talk, like "what did you do to CM"

I thought it was to hand out flyers up to one of the casinos and back. I thought I read somewhere that EA went to a casino later that weekend. Or maybe that Allen kids went up there a lot. moo

He acted like a weasel to me, talk about looking away, acting jumpy - hinky to me, but I'm old and I've seen a lot. I can't imagine how I would come across in a 2 minute interview, but it seemed like EA answered what was asked of him in that timeframe. If this was after being harassed for 2 weeks (did you see that file he had?), I would be a little testy, too - if that's the right word.

Good to know he was at least doing that for her. If I was EA and totally innocent, having my world crash down on me would be on my mind, too. Plus the reporter probably asked him about the threats and that was all they had time for.

Hey, everybody, this is my first post. I have been following along as a guest just reading CM's threads until now. All you guys do
such a great job coming up with ideas and then tossing them around that I haven't really had anything to add until now. IMO now that EA has done the interviews that the family has been wanting him to do, I think maybe I am beginning to understand where CM's family was coming from. I was under the assumption that EA offered to walk CM to her car and I just assumed that he did exactly that. Therefore, if the family also assumed that, maybe they also assumed that therefore had had know something Now that I have seen EA's interviews iit does not appear that's what happened. EA would have us believe that he and CM just happened to be leaving at the same time and they walked out together, whereas before I thought he offered to walk her to her car. He says he went directly to his car and got in and left. He also says that he didn't see where CM went or even if she got in her car. I'm not suggesting that's not what happened but if that IS what happened, then that puts a whole new spin on things IMO. Maybe the family was thinking all along that he actually walked her to her car and saw her get in and drive away. IF that is that the family thought (and that may or may not be what happened) then IMO that makes me question what I thought originally.

Well He must not have been home because if he was home he would not have an alibi.
Unless he had someone at the house which I do not think he did.
What kind of alibi could he have?
