I have a bigger problem with EA not speaking to Jonni and Mark. I also have a problem with his "demise" comment on the Telemundo interview. What did he mean by that? Her demise? I would want to talk to him even more after that or be requesting LE clarify what he meant by that.

Not in anyway defending EA, but because of my children's Spanish schooling, I have learned that Google translate does a poor job from time to time - or Spanish words just have several different meanings. I just went to google translate myself and verified with that article that

"con la desaparición de" translates to "with the disappearance of" AND "with the demise of"

So, hopefully, what he really said/meant was "the disappearance of". Praying...

If you look at the article, you can see that the exact same phrase - in txyorkiemoms version (and mine when I plugged it into google translate) translates to disappearance in one sentence and demise in the next.

The status of cm and hf could greatly dictate as to why he wouldn't have returned her texts or calls and not bothered to contact anyone about not hearing from her

Where was Christina's dog over the whole weekend?
Where was her Rebel Canon Camera?
Her wardrobe, toiletries, jewelry, boots, shoes, and makeup?
Her laptop and other good stuff?

"Demise" was not a word Arochi used in the interview. It was a sentence that the reporter published and in actuality it says, "El joven dice que quisiera saber qué pasó con la desaparición de Morris para “que ya se acabe todo esto”. " What you looked at was a simple Google translation which translated "con la desaparición" to "with her demise" when in fact the translation is "with the disappearance of."

Google translate is NOT always accurate. He did not use the word "demise" at all in the interview, just to clarify.

The bf spoke oddly too though. He wanted nothing more than for Christina to come home and be alive - a comment close to that. So he, in his mind, had her deceased already too.

I read this thread daily and still can't shake the feeling that a stranger did this. And it's hard to believe that it's been two months. Not good. I saw Friday afternoon that a body was found in Plano, but it was a man. So afraid it was Christina or Almaz.

And the bf? The person she shared a home with and I imagine was her intimate partner. How does his behavior compute? If their two actions are weighed, do the sins of a "loved one" weigh more heavily that those of a mere acquaintance? Which person would you expect to demonstrate greater concern and when?
Which is odder, not walking a woman to her car or neglecting to report your live-in girlfriend missing when she didn't return home for four days? Which choice seems stranger.

Being rude or thoughtless in general is one thing but how is it that someone does not notice the person they live with hasn't returned home (at some time he saw her texts) counting two more nights and three days. He never called police, Christina's mother did.

Every time someone points to EA not walking CM to her car, my mind tries to reconcile the above.
It is easy for me to imagine some guy not walking a girl to her car. Much more so than the other inexplicable situation at hand in this case.

To expand on your post, in the English publications, he's not quoted as using the word "demise". We can watch the video and hear what he said. He wished the person who knows something, LE thinks someone does know, would come forward because not only is Christina's family hurting but many other people are too. Of course, whoever did this, probably, doesn't care who is hurting. Many people think that, after such a long time missing, the outcome isn't going to be a good one.

3) Did the girls at the apartment ever offer to walk or drive CM to her car knowing how paranoid she is of walking alone/being abducted?
4) That CM didnt HOP over the short side wall to leave the parking garage? No video cameras coverered that area that we know of.*
5) That EA did not put CM in his trunk? *There were no cameras on his car as far as we know and this would not take much time considering how small she is.*

7) Did EA enter, exit, or go thru a Major Toll at Custer and 121? *So what if he got there in 11 minutes. What did he do after that?*

Honestly, it didn't ruffle my feathers even when the translation indicated demise, and you know I tend to be a word-nerd.

I think the word 'demise' has developed a connotation of 'negative outcome' through metaphoric use. I've used the phrase on here several times, and I haven't experienced backlash.

Conversely, I cringe when people use the phrase 'killed it' to describe achievement or a masterful performance. So, to each his own, IMO.

Great questions, however I do not believe those can be answered at this time. With it being an ongoing case the vast majority of your questions being answered would cause issues with regards to a prosecution

Haven't you known people you've hung around because of other people but the two of you don't call and ask where are we meeting up tonight? It is not that you don't like them or say you don't know them but just that you don't consider them as one of your closer friends. It sounds like CM and EA's situation to me.
All guys don't operate using their best manners at all times. Wish it weren't so but being angry with him for that reason doesn't prove he took her and harmed her. We need to find evidence.

If LE saw Christina get into EA's car or think it is likely she went with him, that is a completely different story. LE hasn't indicated that though.

LE commented that they are keeping some evidence private in the event the case turns into a crime. We know they took objects from EA's car. They could be referring to those items. And, you'd think EA knows if they are.
Yet, it is hard to imagine, if true, LE would return his car to him. And what could LE find after three tries that they couldn't find the first time? The seat belt and floor mats were in the open all along and, it would seem to me, be tested the first time around. They kept the car eleven days but then returned it to EA? What could this mean?


And, what about LE not treating everyone's car as potential evidence. I read here that Christina's car is in one of her parent's custody (mom I think). How can LE know by looking with the naked eye at a vehicle, before proving if it was parked in the same spot the whole time, whether or not her car is involved somehow? This is problematic.
Does that mean LE did witness Christina leaving in another car?

You do raise good questions. I think we can not assume LE didn't look over other cars as well. We don't know any of that. Before the EA interviews we all assumed they hadn't looked at his car yet they had it for 11 days. I believe EA said his passenger side seat belt and floor mats were missing. So if they found evidence there, maybe that's why they kept them? I don't know.

We don't know who they have talked to and to what extent. What we do know from EA's own voice in various interviews is that he talked to the police 4 times and his brother 3 times. They kept his car for 11 days. His mats and seat belt are missing. I don't know what any of this means, would love to hear other's input.
