LOL when your angry and can't reach your loved one u leave voice messages .
Really good ones!! If u catch my drift here.
when all else fails....voicemail

These days a lot of people especially younger people go straight to text.

Funny I find just the opposite
almost like a marriage.
Nothing casual about it..

Lol where ya goin
Who ya going with
What time will u be home
Make sure to call if you will be late.

These 2 were boyfriend and girlfriend not just roomies sharing the rent

If only relationships came with an Operations Manual. People come with their own baggage into relationships and they don't all work the way we think they should.

Yes they text
If there is NO reply they call if they get no answer they will leave a message.

After over 15 tries I (jmo) think she left him a voicemail.

Thanks Salem. It's a lot of threads to read thru for us newcomers. But I have to say WSers are for the most part pretty amazing. I wouldn't have known anything about AE if it wasn't for this site. Good stuff on here early on with the Skylar Neese case. And I might add that I appreciate the mods, too. Wish you guys were a little more flexible at times, understand why you're not, but as far as forums go this is about the best run one I've seen.

Thanks, SaintGirl and Salem - and to all WSers on here. I have wanted to say for a long time that I really enjoy coming on this site and sharing thoughts and ideas. I think we all have our hearts in the right place; we want justice first of all, and to see whatever creep is responsible for this made to pay. I can't imagine the anguish of CM's family. And I hope LE knows their hard work is very appreciated.

I agree with leaving a message if you are angry but if she was with her friends I doubt she would have done so. MOO

It seems there is conflicting info on text vs. messages, last cell activity, etc. MOO

JkM lives with his parents (Christina's father and step-mom) in Allen I think, rather than with JM whom lived interstate. Correct me if I'm wrong.

“She’s gone off the radar before, but every time she’s … at least contacted me, my mom or my dad,” said JkM, Christina’s younger brother. “My mom came into my room while I was doing homework and told me she heard from [Christina’s] work that she hasn’t shown up and no one’s heard from her. … I started thinking about it and it’s different ... Nothing like this has ever happened.”

Not only that u have to wonder how many ppl were standing around.
Mom
Dad
Lawyer
Cop?
TV ppl
Lights
Etc
Etc

I think if he was guilty he would have said nothing at all.

I don 't think it was EA's choice. Most likely it was orchestrated by the attorney.

I agree. I watched one EA interview and he came across as concerned and scared. Also, young people (well, many people of any age) are not used to being interviewed by reporters and being on camera - especially regarding something so grave as a missing person. I know there's the adage that if there is no wrong-doing then there is nothing to be afraid of, but that is not always true.

He would be horrified and scared out of his mind as I think any of us would be under those circumstances. JMO

I agree with you there. I've been stopped by a cop for something I'm not aware of (like tail light out) and I immediately start sweating and getting nervous even though in my mind I've done nothing wrong. I'm petrified I will come across as disrespectful or something even though I'm just sitting there answering questions.

Same here. My mind begins to race with thoughts like "I did renew my driver license, didn't I?" etc. I'm afraid to reach for my purse for my driver license thinking the cop will think I'm reaching for something else. It just is nerve wracking.

Christina has known hf for a long time so it would appear that he has done it before. It wasn't something new she was doing like she just met the guy on the internet or something.

My adult children, both in professional fields, only look at who sent the VM; they don't listen to them.

IMO, if I was responsible for/had knowledge of my live-in partner's disappearance, I think I would try to cover my tracks by trying to make contact w/said missing person before someone else noticed he/she was missing and contacted me. MOO, FWIW, hashtag hope this comment is allowed.

I agree, typically they are the first to call foul play

Ha! Me too. And I feel horrible about it most of the time, too, so nice to know others do it as well.

I haven't read what he did in that regard, but he did voluntarily bring his cell phone to LE so they could go over the calls and texts.

Yes! Thanks for finding it for us! I'm out and about.
The quote says:
“She’s gone off the radar before, but every time she’s … at least contacted me, my mom or my dad,” said JkM, Christina’s younger brother. “My mom came into my room while I was doing homework and told me she heard from [Christina’s] work that she hasn’t shown up and no one’s heard from her. … I started thinking about it and it’s different ... You are correct. That's why I said CM would have contacted his mom. It was his mom not CM's mom he referred to.

I'm wondering if LE has interviewed the staff where Christina worked. It was dating service. That is, did any of clientele cause her problems?

  • #580

WOW! That's weird! They're all gone. And I was going to transcribe them..... Wonder why they were taken down? Hmmmm..... What's going on in Allen?

They still work. Try the links from stwpoke92's original post:

If you copy and paste a long link directly from a post rather than using the quote feature or opening the links and directly copy and pasting the URLs into your post, it will truncate some of the text in the URLs of the long links. HTH and isn't too confusing! :)
