I think LE probably has EA's car on video when he entered garage, prior to the incident. This will verify if he had damage to his car prior to the incident.

How is he not in jail for all of the lies he has told LE? That would be considered breaking the law, right?? :tantrum:

Her Dad has a set of spare keys to Christina's car. He has it now and drives it some. Nothing that Christina had with her that night has been released as found.

Someone mentioned that maybe he offered to take her to her dad's house in Allen. That's plausible is she truly was stuck without keys. But then, I believe I recall JMOM mentioned that Christina had found her keys. Sorry, I'm no help!! Just thinking as I type....

You would think that she would just crash out at the apartment, where the party was...

A lie can land u in jail for obstruction but wont keep u there.
He would be out in a flash so why bother.

Its pretty obvious they don't have anything as of now to arrest him.

From what I can tell, giving a false report to a police officer is a class B misdemeanor http://law.onecle.com/texas/penal/37.08.00.html The maximum penalty for a class B misdemeanor is up to 180 days in jail and $2,000 fine. http://texaspolitics.utexas.edu/archive/html/just/features/0201_01/crimeandp.html Not sure if it would be a separate charge for each lie. It may not be much, but I bet you it would ease some of Christina's family's frustration.

Good thing is with every passing day our group gets a little bit larger and we get a little more determined. We will find Christina, we are strong and we won't give up.

Putting him in jail without strong evidence is going to do nothing to help find Christina and only going to make him more of a flight risk IMO, if he continues to be in and out of jail or a day or two at a time. We will just stay our course. The truth will come out in time. And she didn't just vanish and go poof out of that garage he knows more than he is telling. We already know he lies, makes it hard to believe anything that comes out of his or his families mouths. It's a shame. If he was truthful from the beginning and didn't lie to LE and hinder the investigation the way he did we wouldn't be on thread #15.

EA's co-workers acted as if they just saw the dent for the first time.. as if it had just happened.
“He was very messed up. It was pretty clear he was on something,” said the second coworker. “He had a bite mark on his arm, there were bruises all over his fists and a big dent in the side of his car. I asked him about it and he didn’t give me an answer, just said, ‘Yeah, I know it’s there.’”

So.... He tells her he would take her to her dad's to get her keys and take her back to get her car......then that explains why she would voluntarily get in his car. I notice all the trees off Sam Rayburn bw Custer and Allen.... As we drove by today,... Daughter pointed out a river or body of water. Never noticed before as I am driving..... Just want her found:(.

Forensics from EA's car should be back very soon. This Friday will be 7 weeks since the warrant was issued.

It may ease frustration for a short while but I can say Jonni's frustration is she wants her daughter. I am very closely involved and I see it every day. To know that your daughter is missing and someone who has continually lied over and over could have the information to bring her home and is just flippant and cocky (IMO) is maddening! IMO his family is no better. If it were my son, he wouldn't be staying in my home that is for sure. I know maybe their culture is different but sorry right is right and wrong is wrong. Supposedly he didn't tell his parents he was in jail for a week? Well why didn't they report him missing? Everyone asks that of Jonni and Mark, it was 4 days, oh jeez horrible parenting why didn't they call sooner? Well did EA's parents do that when they supposedly didn't know where he was for a week? I don't think they did. I also don't think that they are telling the truth either. JMO - I don't trust anything that any of them say honestly.

Sorry in advance for the dark thoughts...what if, hypothetically, LE had enough circumstantial evidence, DNA evidence, and video evidence to arrest a hypothetical suspect. What would LE charge the suspect with? If LE wanted to charge the hypothetical suspect with murder, would CM's family have to have her declared legally dead before LE could file a murder charge?

Maybe some lawyer types can chime in here. Again, I hate to think this way, just want her found and justice served.

I really don't see an issue there with Christina's parents and her being gone over a 3 day weekend with her being 23 years old. Not bad parenting at all. You have to let them go out on their own. HF is another matter, but I don't really know the dynamics of that relationship. But I can see parents not talking to a 23 yo son or daughter for 3-4 days. But that's just me.

#FINDCHRISTINA window decals for $5 each now so will probably see lots more of those instead of shoe polish. Lots of fund raisers coming up in the next couple of weeks to aid in search efforts. This is so awesome! Thanks for sharing!

He could be charged with hindering apprehension, but hindering's whose -- his own??

I am bothered by the fact of EA's car having damage. A young man's vehicle is usually his pride and joy. I find it VERY hard to believe that he would have punched it in anger. Why??? So he has the pleasure of paying money to fix it? :twocents:

IMHO

I was thinking about that earlier. I'm also thinking through how damage occurs to the right front quarter panel. Usually that occurs when something runs into you. I suppose that he could have had speed and spun left, idk. Ideas?

BBM - Excellent, excellent point. Thank you!

JMOM do you think anyone (outside that family) might know where she is?
