Why is everyone so afraid?
I think they know that EA is involved w/Cartel
Possibility. My neighbor from Mexico just told my huband yesterday that a relative of his was kidnapped over there. By young kids. He called his wife and told her to take his entire savings of 20 years and sell everything they have and pay the ransom to get him back. I dont know how much truth to all that is but what my point here is that they start out young as criminals and you never know who is involved or has connections to that.

I think it would make the person that did it very nervous!
Maybe mess up ...
And Id like to add many times the person responsible for the crime is searching along with the family. So why not say. Its 3 months now .

Maybe its time to search closer to her home!
That was her destination as I see it.

I would think the person would be more nervous if they had no idea where had been searched. I think it would be a lot more risky for them to go back to retrieve any evidence.

I just feel EA has messed up plenty since the night Christina disappeared. As for the person searching that committed the crime, I can only think of one person they have said searched HF and It doesn't seem that PD are focusing on him at all and per the family they completely feel he is not involved. JMO.

PPL lie!
Its a fact!

I don't know if he killed her None of us do.
Personally I don't think he did and I feel its someone else.

While I agree with a lot of your points, it's because I like to look at the WHOLE picture & all possibilities. However, Occam's Razor is usually a good rule of thumb to go by & even by Magic 8-Ball standards "All signs point to "Yes"" as far as this guy's possible guilt. What exactly is it that makes you think he didn't do it? I have seen a *lot* of convoluted cases & am waiting for that defining piece of evidence to tip the scales one way or the other.

Could be a scam - tell your neighbor to check this out:

Only because the only info given is about EA and its not really from LE.
I wonder what LE has on others....
If they had all this on EA Im sure there is crapola on some of these other peeps.

I am beginning to think that the "friends" were told to keep quiet by LE. It has been 3 months. Young people do have a tendency to talk. Especially when out drinking or what not. It seems unreasonable to me that with 5-10 people present that night...not one has blabbed to a friend. Unless...they were warned by LE. JMO.
Good point about blabbing. But even if they were told to hush it they could be more helpful physically with the search etc without saying a word about what they may know or think. IMO..You couldn't keep me inside if a friend of mine was missing. Quiet maybe, but not unhelpful. I'm thinking more along the lines as they're covering their own butts.

About this 'bite mark'.....how fresh was it? Could it have been done a previous night during an amorous encounter or was it like a deep arm bite?

/ sorry if I'm being repetitious...just found out about the case today & am still playing catch-up. :-)

According to what we've heard it was on his arm.
So I suppose if you're kinky it may be amorous but at least in my life, I have only given or received a bite mark/hicky on places that are not my arm. Lol

But hey who knows. People are into all sorts of things.

I don't necessarily think he didn't "do it" I just think there's more people than EA involved..IMO. Unfortunately all we can really talk about is him so the talking in circles begins. There's a few people I'd like more information on.

Reminds me of that case where the college girl went barhopping with some friends & disappeared...her shoes & purse I think were still at the last bar she was seen at with friends. NONE of them gave up any info & there were a few of them. I think most lawyered up & after the college year was over with the case faded into oblivion. I know it's on Websleuths, but I forget the girls name. :-/

LE is probably playing close to the vest so as not to tip off the person they think is the possible perp. I'm hopeful that they are looking at *all* possibilities. :-) But I totes understand your frustration.

The verified insiders have said that it was described as violent. It was reported to police by a co-worker. The co-worker stated that EA told him the bite was from a bar fight from the night that Christina went missing. EA later denied the bite mark to LE and reporters. The VIs have also hinted that the co-worker *may* have taken a photo of the bite.

Yeah. If it was a "love bite" I'd expect it to be more on the chest, shoulder or neck area. ;-)

Lauren Spierer. Happened at Indiana U. if I remember correctly. Also one of the last persons to see Brittanee Drexel lawyered up after returning home and there is some serious doubt that he had anything to do with her disappearance.

I can't find the link but I remember reading that EA supposedly pressured co-workers not to talk about certain things that weekend after Christina was last seen. I am wondering if there is a pattern here if the PI is saying certain individuals are scared to talk.

Since I seem to have jumped in with both feet, I have a question that we probably have no answer for.

I believe the VI's have implied that HF checked in with EA after Christina didn't return home. First of all, I wonder what EA told him. But do we know if HF called any of the other SoCalledFriends to see if they knew anything.

Assuming HF made some efforts to check on Christina, someone must have told him something that made him think everything was ok and that he didn't need to report her missing. Whoever gave him reassurance looks suspicious in my eyes.

Thank you for jumping in :-). You have made good points.

JMOM, are you taking your 'recovery day'? So you can back out there later at full strength.

THAT'S THE ONE! Thanks for that!

:treadmill:

Oh yes can we please. Or where her camera was. Lol

But really. I am hoping this PI can crack this open for her family.

Checking in, hoping to hear some news. Glad to see the light humor in here tonight, along with good chatter. I do remember EA said LE asked him to take his shirt off in one interview...maybe they have pictures. I hope they have something that leans one way or the other. What in the world could you be covering up that's worse than kidnapping/murder? I'm just nervous that if it wasn't him, or they can't prove she was in his car, we are back at square one. Am still being very hopeful about the searches!
