At least you offered up a different theory of what could have happened. Despite repeated questions to others who think EA is innocent in Christina's disappearance haven't offered anything.

Of course I don't agree with your theory, just like you don't agree with mine. But thanks for putting something else out there other than "I don't think he did anything."

Despite repeated questions, there was a mod note that stated no one else can be "sleuthed" until the situation changes. I cannot repond at this time

Hey good to see you back on here! And btw I agree.

Thanks. I've been dealing with some health issues. I haven't for ONE minute forgotten about Christina or her family. I think of her every night when I go to bed, I dream about her and I wake up thinking about her. I hope this is the week she comes home.

I can promise you that Christina did not just walk away from her parents, siblings, and Madden. That is not the case here. I wish it were. But IMO this is just not the case. I hope nothing more than she is safe sipping drinks on a beach somewhere but if she were, her mother would know it.

Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't Christina the only child for a Jonni? (Aside from her step sons)
You don't just leave your mom when you're an only child usually.

If I was being falsely accused of being involved in a crime I'd probably hire an attorney too. But I'd also be offering any and all information to the police to prove my innocence and you wouldn't catch me lying. Generally if you didn't do anything wrong or aren't hiding anything you don't lie, and the fact is he did lie.
For example: if for some reason the route I took home from work last Friday was in question I wouldn't lie. I'd simply say "hey I have two options depending on such-and-such, and I don't remember which I took". He lied about his route, why? He lied about the walk to the garage, why?
And as for the damage to his car: He took it to Huffines to get repaired. The body shops at Huffines keep a diagram of all vehicles they work on and I have no doubt that the PPD has a copy of that and the mechanics statement. They know what the damage to his vehicle was consistent with and personally I don't blame them for keeping it under wraps.

I can't imagine for one minute that EA would take being interrogated and having people picket his house & hire a criminal attorney if she ran away. If all he had to do was prove she ran away, we wouldn't still be talking about this case. IMO something happened to her that night & he knows what is was.

Very valid point.

Yes. Christina is Jonni's only biological child. She has two step sons. Christina wouldn't do that to jonni or Mark for that matter ever. She is very close to her parents and step parents.

Also seeing the bond between her family and real friends, especially the bond she shared with her mother and from
What we have been told about her personality, I don't believe for one minute she would run off and put her mom through that.

I don't know enough about the American legal system to be sure but how likely is it that with all the modern methods of DNA testing, phone tracking etc someone would be wrongly convicted of a crime like this. Is the risk great enough to hire a very expensive lawyer before LE have even indicated that a crime has been committed.

Genuine question I would never do this for my son but want to gauge what would be reasonable for an American parent.

I think there are a lot of things to consider, but it's not unreasonable in my opinion. Honestly, I don't see a problem with EA having an attorney. I find it unusual that he hired one that is death penalty certified, and I feel like it would have made more sense and looked less suspicious if he had hired one in the beginning and been truthful instead of only hiring one after being caught in numerous lies. But there are definitely instances in which an attorney is needed even if one is not guilty.

I didn't mean to sound like I was discounting her Dad or anything I just feel like when you only have one child sometimes they get more attention and become closer bc there's no one else taking away the attention. I know not all situations are that way but most people who are an only child on one side can't imagine moving let alone fake disappearing bc they know how hard it is on their parents.

Oh.....it was not taken that way at all. You are right. She would never do that to her Mom. She wouldn't even do that to her dog, IMO. So I just think that idea for me, is not an option, whatsoever.

No. I had a friend who didn't have a good relationship with her parents and she disappeared. Everyone figured she ran away and would come home. She actually was murdered. I felt so bad thinking she was just pissed off and would be back.

Awwww so sorry that is terrible. Things like this just make me wonder what is wrong with people? How can you hurt another human being? Is life really that unimportant to some. Not to mention the victim and their loved ones but the persons own life is ruined. It's a shame that anyone has to deal with these sort of situations. I am so sorry for your loss.

The last time it was quiet like this for a while we had the warrant released..

I cant wait to find out what really happend here.
I just don't think it happened the way everyone thinks.

Maybe we will find out one day soon.
If he did it then some of you were right and if he didn't well there is another sad story and life ruined.
Guess we play the waiting game... see what happens.

It is a very sad story with damaged lives no matter which theory is accurate. EA's role in Christina's disappearance is pivotal, regardless.

I pray every day that is the case. Before I rise from my bed I pray for Christina and that today will be the day we bring her home where she belongs. I want you to know in public that you have been so very helpful to me during this journey and to say Thank You for that!

:heartluv:
I'm glad to help bc I would want someone to help if they could help my baby or my friend or my family member. I know others feel that way that are here too. I'm glad to do it.

Yeah, I always like to think I am helping in some small way. But when a new thread starts and I see her face on that poster, I just fell useless and small.

I planned to do this on Thanksgiving but was really sick and today was the first day I could sit down and think what to say. But each and every one of you whether we agree of disagree have helped Carlton and I in some way trying to bring Christina home. I know we don't all have the same beliefs and that is perfectly fine. But I do want to thank each of you for the time and energy you have put in to trying to make some sense of all of this.

3 months ago I could never have dreamed I would be a part of something like this. These things just don't happen in Allen or Plano. Tomorrow marks 3 months since Christina disappeared and we never thought she wouldn't be home by now. I know I didn't and Jonni certainly didn't. Please say a prayer for Christina, all of her family and friends, searchers, LE who are working so hard to find her and bring whoever is responsible to justice. We will not give up ever and I know we will bring her home.
