We all feel that way. It is absolutely heartbreaking.

Yeah, I always like to think I am helping in some small way. But when a new thread starts and I see her face on that poster, I just fell useless and small.

Think about this...
Could it be she left on her own and they all know it?

this is why they are not saying anything!
Would EA go to jail for someone he considered an acquaintance? I don't think he is willing to risk his own butt to cover for her..but that's JMO!!

I planned to do this on Thanksgiving but was really sick and today was the first day I could sit down and think what to say. But each and every one of you whether we agree of disagree have helped Carlton and I in some way trying to bring Christina home. I know we don't all have the same beliefs and that is perfectly fine. But I do want to thank each of you for the time and energy you have put in to trying to make some sense of all of this.

3 months ago I could never have dreamed I would be a part of something like this. These things just don't happen in Allen or Plano. Tomorrow marks 3 months since Christina disappeared and we never thought she wouldn't be home by now. I know I didn't and Jonni certainly didn't. Please say a prayer for Christina, all of her family and friends, searchers, LE who are working so hard to find her and bring whoever is responsible to justice. We will not give up ever and I know we will bring her home.

I never knew this website existed until I went digging to find out more on Christina. I've found a lot of people with a similar feeling of wanting to help here. I have dreams about her since I started coming to this website almost every night. I feel for her parents and everyone who is looking. I do think it's amazing how strong the community is here coming together for her though. I'm from Southern California and I can tell you that missing people come and go and communities don't pull together there like they have here.

I hope that whatever has happened to christina, her family can know the truth soon. To me, as a parent, not knowing would be the worst. The cold weather- is she warm? The warm weather- is she drinking water? Things like that.

No. I had a friend who didn't have a good relationship with her parents and she disappeared. Everyone figured she ran away and would come home. She actually was murdered. I felt so bad thinking she was just pissed off and would be back.

Sorry to hear this - thanks for sharing, too. It can be mind boggling what happens to people, male and female, old and young. We can all relate to being young and I think for me back in the 70-80s, that if I had been gone for a day or two, some people would think that of me, too. Plus we didn't have cell phones then...but I just would think with all the technology in this day and age, plus what LE has that they are not sharing, you'd think it would be easier to pinpoint what's going on. Frustrating for sure. Come on next week, want to see something decisive. Either you got it or you don't.

I think there are a lot of things to consider, but it's not unreasonable in my opinion. Honestly, I don't see a problem with EA having an attorney. I find it unusual that he hired one that is death penalty certified, and I feel like it would have made more sense and looked less suspicious if he had hired one in the beginning and been truthful instead of only hiring one after being caught in numerous lies. But there are definitely instances in which an attorney is needed even if one is not guilty.

Thanks for this, for representing...

How could be have woken up his brother at 4am, when he's on video at 3:58am? And why haven't I noticed that before?
Another of EA'S lies! That one had slipped by me, too. Why on earth would he pretend that he was at home at 4? Was he saying 4ish, as in could be actually closer to 5? Better question, does he *ever* tell the truth?!

Well Like I say Im not sure EA's part in this.
What if LE cant place her in his car?
No evidence of a crime.
I don't think hes going to jail.

Where do we go from there?

that goes with the "walking by custer" and "I was the last to see her" in the uncut interview

I don't mind sharing, you guys feel like family. My story is too long to tell in depth here, but when Jazz said his brothers would cover for each other "no matter what", it just hit a nerve with me. In short, it was child abuse (I was only 4, my sister 6) from our oldest brother and went on for 2 years; then when he went into the service, we thought it was over. Now we know that never changes. God only knows what he did overseas. He was married 2 times, 3 children with first wife (he did the same to his youngest 2 we found out much later), then he finally got caught when he messed with a step-grandchild and went to trial in 2001. He destroyed a lot of people and the judge told him he might as well have killed us children who suffered, our lives were so shattered. So many people hurt. I sat with the family who was prosecuting; some of my family testified to his good character and caused a terrible rift for years. My mother died from pneumonia from going to see him in prison, waiting outside in the damp air. Some people tried to blame me because they knew I went to the DA and told my story, but they didn't need me at all. I would have told when I was 4 but he said he would beat my sister so I didn't. We are not poor, uneducated, trashy, or anything other than an ordinary family. It can happen to anyone and does every day. I don't know what makes people bend that way. I don't believe in sweeping things under the rug, either. Made me a tough old broad, though and as it happens, I have a glorious life now - some awful struggles along the way, though. Thanks for listening, the holidays always bring these emotions out in me. Not looking for sympathy, I'm tough now.

:tyou:

God Bless You, Happyshoes. You are a very strong woman!

well if Christina cant be placed in his car then I would say he can only be convicted of interfering... My question is to you, if she is placed in his car will you still say he is innocent?

I would really like to know if his brother was home! Does he have a car? Here's a scenario!! EA and CM are in his car, he makes an unwanted advance, she runs, he catches her, there is a fight and she is injured/killed. He leaves her there, goes home as normal, tells his brother what happened and to hide the body!!!
Probably far fetched but just speculating.

MOO!!

I don't know?
Id like to know a crime was committed before we throw away the key or give him that lethal injection.

And that's exactly right. This was the nineties and less video and photo surveillance. If she had a cell phone or we had video footage we would of known where she had been instead of having to make a horrible deal just to find her body.

I know LE has pieces to this case they aren't releasing. Whatever they are I am sure Christina's family will find out the truth.

I do not think they will release any info about the grand jury hearing though from hearing how secretive the hearings are...the ferguson hearing they just had they wouldn't really say anything except that they didn't indict. Reporters questions about who was in there etc were ignored.

Does anyone know if it's true that a person cannot take their lawyer in front of Grand Jury? I thought I read that they can be there but not in the room and you have to leave the room to ask your attorney a question?

Looking at it objectively, if they can place Christina in EA's car it is another part of the puzzle. But 'what' is he guilty of at that point? OK, he drove her out of the garage and he is guilty of lying and interfering with an investigation. But we are no closer to finding Christina. (He could actually be guilty of something greater, but no evidence of it.)

But if they find other types of evidence other than, say, hair. AND they find it in the trunk, now we have a different situation and EA is likely guilty of more than interfering with an investigation.

I believe that's accurate. You can leave to go out and ask a question and go back in. From what I read.

What about the squeegee he used at the gas station? Would it possibly still have any dna evidence if there was anything he was trying to clean off on the outside of the trunk other then possible fingerprints. Maybe even a strand of her hair? I dont know if they clean the water or whatever solution those things are in but what if a piece of her hair got caught in it. Far fetched I am sure but I would want to see the squeegee he picked up and used.

Outside the box - What if EA switches out cars? He gets in a little accident in his car, wakes his brother up for alibi and grabs his keys without his knowledge to drop CM off. Toll tags/plates and everything would be thrown off if he switched cars to hide CM somewhere.....just a thought

This is interesting:
"Unlike the "petit" jury, which is used to determine guilt in a trial, a grand jury consists of 16 to 23 jurors who are not screened for bias. The purpose of the grand jury is not to determine guilt or innocence, but to decide whether there is probable cause to prosecute someone for a felony crime. The grand jury operates in secrecy and the normal rules of evidence do not apply. The prosecutor runs the proceedings and no judge is present. Defense lawyers are not allowed to be present in the grand jury room and cannot present evidence, but may be available outside the room to consult with witnesses. The prosecutor and the grand jury members may not reveal what occurred in the grand jury room and witnesses cannot obtain a transcript of their testimony."

I would hope they ran toll tags on all vehicles he could have had access to even his parents. you are right he could have grabbed another set of keys and left his car parked in the garage after he did damage to it that night. If he stayed in Allen though or the vicinity of his home he would not have gone through any tollways so there would be no record. I still feel his home and all vehicles need to be searched. He had to clean himself up for work. He had visible abrasions on his right fist. He had to have left blood even if his own somewhere.
